/me thinks it's wacky how that's perfectly all right for Buddhist books, being that reading choices are up to the instructor, but that a teacher that chose Christian books would undergo some pretty nasty criticism

/me thinks surfing is a weird sport, which is supposed to be the hobby of the average Californian

/me has never surfed, and probably won't for a while since his brother sorta hurt himself surfing and his parents view it as dangerous..

/me also doesn't fence because his parents wrongly view it as dangerous

/me is serious though - fencing isn't dangerous. You're covered head to toe in protective padded stuff, and you have a bee-keeper's like mask on, and the sworsd have little balls at the end (no point). The only possible way you could get injured is twisting an ankle.

/me wonders what objections the parental units have, if they're aware of the pertinent facts
