Besides Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit, name one perfect person in the Bible.
Same could be said of Noah, Abraham, Moses, and many others, and I think they were closer rather than farther...what about Mary, mother of Jesus
and her cousin Elizabeth
were they close to perfect?
Generally there are none, though some clearly were closer rather than further. Job's faith didn't fail even under the most amazing test, yet we wouldn't say Job was perfect, but rather that Job did what he should do mostly, more than not, and hastened to repent, but most crucially, Job fell back on faith, over and over, (https://biblehub.com/job/19-25.htm) and that is a perfect action at least. It's perhaps the best thing we can do, along with love.
We aren't told what mistakes John made, but see what he wrote on this question! --
5 "This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us."

Are we considering that to be perfect one would need to be without sin?
No.was Mary perfect to give birth to and raise Jesus?
I'm quite aware of the scriptures. Was there a point? Maybe you were just re-narrating the passages, which is OK.Genesis 37:4-11 NLT
But his brothers hated Joseph because their father loved him more than the rest of them. They couldn’t say a kind word to him. [5] One night Joseph had a dream, and when he told his brothers about it, they hated him more than ever. [6] “Listen to this dream,” he said. [7] “We were out in the field, tying up bundles of grain. Suddenly my bundle stood up, and your bundles all gathered around and bowed low before mine!” [8] His brothers responded, “So you think you will be our king, do you? Do you actually think you will reign over us?” And they hated him all the more because of his dreams and the way he talked about them. [9] Soon Joseph had another dream, and again he told his brothers about it. “Listen, I have had another dream,” he said. “The sun, moon, and eleven stars bowed low before me!” [10] This time he told the dream to his father as well as to his brothers, but his father scolded him. “What kind of dream is that?” he asked. “Will your mother and I and your brothers actually come and bow to the ground before you?” [11] But while his brothers were jealous of Joseph, his father wondered what the dreams meant.
Got it. You were just explaining how the Lord was perfect. Praise the Lord. How was Jesus Perfect?
Matthew 5:17 NLT
“Don’t misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose.
John 8:45-47 NLT
So when I tell the truth, you just naturally don’t believe me! [46] Which of you can truthfully accuse me of sin? And since I am telling you the truth, why don’t you believe me? [47] Anyone who belongs to God listens gladly to the words of God. But you don’t listen because you don’t belong to God.”
1 Peter 2:21-25 NLT
For God called you to do good, even if it means suffering, just as Christ suffered for you. He is your example, and you must follow in his steps. [22] He never sinned, nor ever deceived anyone. [23] He did not retaliate when he was insulted, nor threaten revenge when he suffered. He left his case in the hands of God, who always judges fairly. [24] He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed. [25] Once you were like sheep who wandered away. But now you have turned to your Shepherd, the Guardian of your souls.
Luke 4:1-9,11-13 NLT
Then Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan River. He was led by the Spirit in the wilderness, [2] where he was tempted by the devil for forty days. Jesus ate nothing all that time and became very hungry. [3] Then the devil said to him, “If you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become a loaf of bread.” [4] But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone.’ ” [5] Then the devil took him up and revealed to him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. [6] “I will give you the glory of these kingdoms and authority over them,” the devil said, “because they are mine to give to anyone I please. [7] I will give it all to you if you will worship me.” [8] Jesus replied, “The Scriptures say, ‘You must worship the LORD your God and serve only him.’ ” [9] Then the devil took him to Jerusalem, to the highest point of the Temple, and said, “If you are the Son of God, jump off! [11] And they will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.’ ” [12] Jesus responded, “The Scriptures also say, ‘You must not test the LORD your God.’ ” [13] When the devil had finished tempting Jesus, he left him until the next opportunity came.
