Brokenheart, I just looked and do you realize 10, 593 people have respond to you! That is a lot of responses! Obviously someone cares for you and I believe it must be God who motivates people to respond to you. Perhaps He is reaching out to you through other people. Open your eyes and see that you are cared for. Now, for some practical advise. If you like pets, get a dog or cat. They are great friends and stress relievers (although sometimes they can make a little stress if they chew on your homework or shoes). There is even something called "Pet therapy". It is true that taking care of a pet can sort of take your mind off your own problems. Another idea is to be care about the music and tv you are taking in. You may just need some peace and quiet and let your mind rest for awhile. This may sound boring or difficult to do, but if you replace the time with something else productive, you will find that it is beneficial. Actually, some music can even produce depression in people and this was scienficially proven. I am not a music basher because my husband is a musician but I think a little break may be good for you. If you are determined to watch or listen to tv and music then notice your feelings when you see or hear something. If the feeling is negative, turn it off. One last suggestion, my guess is you probably feel so weighed down with your own problems that you don't feel like you can take on other people's. However, if you have a strong interest in something, volunteer to help others. Helping others often takes the focus off ourselves which can be very therupeutic.
