Bruce Dickinson, Freddy Mercury, Robert Plant, Prince, Pavarotti, and Elvis have the best singing abilities. By singing abilities, I am referring to vocal range, versatility, breathing, control, etc. Who else do you think has the best technical singing abilities?

I tend to prefer singers with the best technical vocal ability. But this thread is strictly referring to what singers with the best technical vocal ability, not necessarily who you would rather listen to (although that often overlaps-I'm sure i can prove that Britney Spear's technical ability is horrible if I wanted to). This thread will also be used as an opportunity to discuss your favorite singers and what their technical vocal abilities are, and make comparisons. It's isn't just about my list and adding more names to it and debating who I put there, although that is a part of this thread.

Hi Superhero Sam. For me it would be Jimmy Barnes, Freddie Mercury, Robert Plant, Ronnie James Dio, David Coverdale, Sammy Hagar, Steve Perry. IMHO they combine an ability to sing sweetly with belting out songs, great control and unique texture ie you recognize them at once.
