Well? Is this guy a Christian leader? Is he a decent representative of American Chrsitianity? How do you view the good Mister Robertson? And how do you view Disney for keeping this man and his program on their "Family Channel"?

I think that there are good Christians elements in what he says. On the other hand he believes in dispensationalism, which from what I gather says that salvation is by faith in Christ only for some groups of people - correct me if I am wrong. At any rate no-one is decent enough to be a decent representative of Christianity. He has a strong moral sense and so would be just right it seems to me for a family channel.Spinrad said:Well? This man is not speaking for Christ. He should not be given any air time if this is what he does with it.

In 1960, Robertson established the Christian Broadcasting Network. It is now seen in 180 countries and broadcast in 71 languages. Robertson also founded International Family Entertainment, Inc. in 1990, with its main business as the Family Channel, which was sold to the Fox network in 1997 and is now owned by Disney. A condition of the sale was that the station would continue airing Robertson's television program The 700 Club twice a day.
