you don't know for certainty that you are awake. you might be still asleep. But you choose to believe you are awake and make choices based on your belief that you are awake.

do you feel that you are required to believe with certainty in order to be saved?

Okay think of it like this we could have came from evolution or not I personally don't even see the sense in that at all but one thing is certain there is a God think wayyyyyy back to like the beginnings of the Earth ok now it was supposedly created by two rocks or whatever then what made the rocks what made the thing before that what made the air molecules and stuff like that something had to make it us or the things that caused us now the typical argument for this is what made God and the answer to that is he's self-exisisent our minds have trouble wrapping around that concept but that's part of faith I mean think about it though some higher power, God there had to be the first thing made whatever it may be. Nothing can't just sit there then all of a sudden BAM! You have something that's dumb to even say.

I dont know it isnt true though. I just cant know. Yes i think you have to be certain with belief.

Well like I said something had to create the first thing and you don't have be certain with no doubts you just have to believe at least a little bit like the faith the size of the mustard seed thing. And like the thief dying on the cross I highly doubt he had absolutely perfect faith Jesus said he was saved remember God knows it's hard for us to be perfect at anything.

The only thing that keeps my little faith up is i personally know people who have died and experienced God but then i start feeling maybe chemicals in the brain did that. I dont want to agnostic but i think like one so what if i still go to church and pray. Sometimes i feel when i am starting to see maybe God exists i purposely push it away. How do i go on? Do i say i dpnt know what is true. I hope when i croak there is a heaven but for now i will just live in the moment. So what is the concenus doubt is not caused ocd just the ruminations or is does ocd cause the doubt and how can we know the difference.
