Pasting from MS Word

I have MS Word 2000 and I'm having problems pasting from it to this message board. I like to write my post in Word as time permitts at little at a time yet when I tried posting it, it came out with all the junk along with it.

 

Any ideas?

I don't think there really is a solution for it, at least for typing in word (word does things differently than VB Code), I would type it in Notepad, that doesn't have any advanced formatting stuff (which is prolly what is causing the baggage of Word)

Of if you HAVE to use word... use Word, click File -> Save As -> and choose .txt instead of .doc (right under where you type the filename)

You'll lose stuff like Bold/italics though..

I've disabled HTML in these forums for security reasons - that's why.

The other option is to disable the WYSIWYG interface in your User CP "Options" section, and you should be able to paste from MS Word then.

The reason it does that is because of the WYSIWYG interface used here in posting replies. Your best bet is to turn off that option in your Control Panel.

the replies here only use plain text. word doesn't use plain text. so if you want to write it up, do it in notepad or in word, you can make a new document that is plain text.
