I think we are doing it tuesday night ..

maybe we got the wrong again...
OH well.. we celebrate jesus doing passover..
we don't necessarily do passover legal like..
we eat what they eat and we explain the high points and then use them to explain how Jesus fulfilled them. it is fun family time .. for the kids we do the 1 of 3 three flat bread that is wrapped in a napkin it is broke in half ( auficomin sp? maybe ?) that half part gets hidden and the oldest grand/son/child finds it and makes a deal to get granddad to buy it back at the sons price/ demands/haggling .. he cuts special deal for all the kids not just the son... it is crack up.. and we eat yummy food.... lamb is sooooooo good..
and Chzug (sp?), tahini and hummus babaganuch and other foods that have become our favorites of Jesus's holidays.... we eat them every holiday the same ones..
except brisket( cup of catchup and package of onion soup mix yum for Chanukah purim etc ) and for all the other holidays. and save lamb special for passover.
because He is the lamb .

we take these holidays to explain how the commanded festivals are prophetic in their timing and in their picture of events.

you can buy books for kids that help them understand passover and that is where we started. with a kids version . :p

Hello, tonight is the holiday Passover. I am just wondering, if anyone else celebrate Passover. So do any of you celebrate the holiday Passover?

My church is having a Friday night Good Friday service. I guess it is an attempt to give some acknowledgment of the passover. A lot of Christian churches are missing a real blessing by not doing to Seder Meal. It is very symbolic and in my opinion really adds to the Easter message.

Yup in English we call it Easter :)

Christian cultures use a name cognate of the Hebrew Pasḥa (Pâques in French, Pasqua in Italian, Pascua in Spanish), German uses Ostern, and English uses Easter. This indicates that the Anglo Saxon already had such a feast at this time of the year.
Also note that the Welsh use Pasg and Irish use Cáisc. Why not Easter ? Simply because Wales and Ireland were Christianised during the Roman domination, a few centuries before the Anglo Saxons pagan migrations.-http://english.stackexchange.com/questions/22270/etymology-of-easter
