According to the Gospel of the KINGDOM, the Lord was AMONG Israel in the body of His flesh and blood. (john 1:14 "and the word was made FLESH and dwelt among us...)
Jesus was God manifested in the flesh. He lived among His own people for 33 years, yet without sin (Heb. 4:15) He died on a Cross, and came back after His resurrection in a body that could live on the EARTH.

But according to the Gospel of the Grace of God, The Lord Jesus Christ is seen to be IN believers, NOT outside walking around in a body of flesh.
Christ, in a very real sense, dwells WITHIN every saved person. "my little children, of whom I travail in birth again until CHRIST BE FORMED IN YOU." Galatians 4:19
Christ IN you, the hope of glory...Col. 1;27 is the distinctive feature of Christianity, for the indwelling Christ is not taught by the law of Moses.
This is how we are to know Him. We are NOT to know Him according to the flesh, "Wherefore henceforth know NO man after the flesh; yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, YET NOW HENCEFORTH KNOW WE HIM NO MORE." (2 Cor. 5:16)
Knowing Christ after the flesh would be glorying in the flesh (1 Cor. 1:29). Yes the MYSTERY revealed to Paul places Christ WITHIN the believer. Praise the Lord.
