I would prefer the one year; that way we allow everyone to prepare for the coming shabbat. :)

We can include the Haftarah if you'd like. I'm flexible on all of this. ;)
I think it is quite ok if we do - but also that it is quite a full plate.

suggestion:
this year do the Torah portions
next year do the HafTorah portions, referring to the previous Torah discussions

It is not necessary that we have to follow one or the other, so I ask:

Do you think we should use the one year reading cycle - and coincide with most MJ congregations that do Torah readings

or

should we use the three year reading cycle - and take it in smaller "bites" and chew more thoroughly?
 Oh pleeeez pleeeez consider taking the three year cycle, won't you folks? So many places online all do the 1 year cycle, and my family is following the 3-year, so TL and I would greatly appreciate having a place to discuss the readings on the 3-yr set-up (which we haven't found a place to do yet anywhere else online). granted, I'll be happy with whatever you all decide, and I haven't managed to read this whole thread yet, so I realize you may have decided already lol... but I wanted to speak up quick!

Let's say that we should have the poll end by midnight tonight.
Defining "midnight:"
Since we're all spread out over different time zones, and I'm the one who's planning to post the final thread, let's go with midnight my time(mountain time zone, GMT -7).

I'll post the final discussion thread at that point.
