  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My sister had spinal surgery back in November of '03, and came out paralyzed :(

This was dumped on her at age 4, she's 5 now, soon to be 6. And on top of that, she's also adopted, so she's still adjusting into our family.

The doctors say they see no physical way for my sister to regain control of the lower half of her body. I believe that the only way of healing for her is by divine intervention by God. I also know that God may have a purpose in this, so I simply pray for his will.

If anyone could pray for her and my family, it'd be much appreciated...

God bless

Our Dear Heavenly Father,
we often question why we must endure such trials and tribulations during our time here on this earth. Father it is sometimes revealed to us, and sometimes not. Father, in this circumstance I pray that you make it clear to all involved that your hand is on this young girl's life, that the injury she has suffered will mold her life in such a way that you use this disability for your glory Father, and in doing so you build this young girl up to have a strength in you that other's aspire to. Lord thank you for MXG, she is a wonderful, caring sister who obviously loves her kin very deeply. Pour out your blessings upon this family Lord and sustain them in times of hardship and testing. I pray your will be done in this situation Lord and all be for your glory. In Jesus' might name.

Amen.

Your brother in Christ,

Luke

Father, bless this little girl, who has suffered so much. Help her and her family deal with this illness and pour out your healing upon her. Bless this family who have taken her into their lives and fill them with strength, so that whatever happens, they can deal with it.
Asking this in the name of Jesus the Lord
Amen.
