Can you be physically restrained by the enemy?

I had a weird feeling last night whilst awake in bed. I had my eyes closed (my wife was feeding our six week old) I felt like someone was sat / pinning me to my bed, I couldn't move, I couldn't talk, I couldn't open my eyes. Inside I was panicking - I tried to shout my wifes name and I couldn't, so in my head I shouted Jesus. Immediatly I was released from what ever it was.

I have been around the boards over the past year or so, and as you can see I'm not one for posting to often. I love the banter but like to see it from the outside and not be caught up in it.

What I'm trying to say is I wouldn't post unless it was real to me.

Any thoughts?

I'm really tired as I couldn't sleep after this.

I had an almost identical experience as that when I was 14 or 15. So, I'd have to say 'yes'.

The enemy has a way of invading our dreams to put fear and doubt into your mind. That dream to you was as real as any nightmare and it affects you in the same way - you can rest assured it was the enemy as the minute you called out to Jesus, you were released.

I have heard a few testimonies from those who have pinned to the floor/bed by demons.
