I only know that we will experience God's energies and being partakers of the divine nature.

I think also think Earth.

Thanks for the link and the claim becasue it caused me to read the entire chapter for any evidence to support your creative narration. The story you invented included many motivations that are not in the story. Your story is like a Monty Python - Life of Brian sketch. It is written between the lines.

It does show that Christ's teachings were already quite unpopular then and John 6:66 says it clearly!

Furthermore Jesus said only few will find life. And we should not "hard sell" the Gospel - Matthew 10:14. We should not waste any time on those who refuse to hear.

Only few will be left standing. As long as Christ will be there, that's all that matters.

John 6:60-61 clearly said the crowd became offended by Christ's teachings, obviously why they no longer followed Christ, clear as day and night

-or any of the motivations you claimed.
