I think sandman is right. We sit in heavenly places even now, spiritually, with Christ who is at the Father's right hand, but someday Jesus will return and we will meet Him in clouds to return and establish a physical Kingdom on earth. The tree of life will be on earth again and the lion will walk with the lamb for a thousand yearswiththe saints reigning with Christ. After this time, there will be one more rebellion against this Kingdom that will be defeated and then the second resurrection occurs called the Great White Throne judgment, and the books will be opened. Then the new heavens and earth will be made. Whether in heaven or paradise, we want ot be with Jesus.

Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Colossians 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
Revelations 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. 7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
