Hey ya'll. I had an inspiration zoom into my head when I was in the shower so I rushed out and jotted it down on paper for a song. then I kind of turned it into a poem.... I have this thing where I can start things beautifully but then I have problems with the rest. i'm going to post it right after this one because my server isn't carrying very well and won't let me load alot at once. tell me what you think.

Painted Picture

had a painted picture,
of my life,
it had many things on it,
like friendships,
on this painted picture,
you were so far away,
just a speck on that page.
this is not the way it should be,
I know this.
You were once my best,
once the greatest,
once the center,
once my everything.
change is needed,
but i'm so weak,
you're the only one,
who can strengthen me,
i'm crying out tonight,
how can I make you,
my everything,
once again.
starting over,
on a new canvas,
with new colors and new paint,
everything is fresh,
everything is new,
everything is you.
this painted picture
of my life,
has one main thing on it,
which is you.
my Lord,
my everything.

wow that's really neat... I like the idea of comparing life to a painting... and the end, about starting over.
