CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

He is the God of wisdom. Praying that He grants you wisdom in all this and discernment so that you get through this chapter and on to the next having grown in His grace, and Truth, and the fearlessness of survivors who have healed and are equipped to help others who are wounded.
In other words there IS a "purpose" in all of this that will be seen, eventually, if we TRUST Him in it all.
Read Proverbs 31, about God's own definition of a Godly woman.

Wisdom = not allowing anyone to be hurt or abused, INCLUDING not letting anyone hurt or abuse THEM.
There's balance.
It has to do with "dignity", the Godly kind, that is given by God, along with wisdom.
God NEVER EVER compromises our dignity.
We learn to protect and defend others' dignity, as well as our own.

Just ease up on the self condemnation and anger at yourself and it will happen (just become more "conscious" of it and when it does, tell it to go away or kick it to da curb) and find something funny instead, or lighthearted, or something that makes you smile, from the inside, out.
