Recognizing that most everyone tries to put their best foot forward when trying to impress others, isn't there an ethical limit that precludes deliberate deception? While women's girdles are a thing of the past---so I'm told---padded bras and breast implants are very much in vogue, and only because they act to allure men. Of course when things proceed to the level of an intimate relationship these deceits are soon undone and the deception is blown, leaving the guy thinking, "what the . . . . . . . . !" So how can a woman justifying these deceptions? Or don't they bother?
