This sort of "evidence" props up those who are already emotionally wedded to the belief in question. Flat Earthers can assemble reams of such "evidence." Young Earth Christians can assemble reams of such "evidence."

A worldwide flood is one step up from a Flat Earth. Yes, there was a localized flooding event that gave rise to the flood legends (as you may know, the Epic of Gilgamesh, which predates Genesis, is pretty much the flood story right down to a Noah-like character and his family, an ark, the saved animals, and the landing on a mountain).

Nothing theologically is lost by admitting the flood was a localized event seen through the eyes of those for whom that locality (the Middle East) was their entire world. There was also a cataclysmic worldwide event between 11,000-12,000 BC that may have been precipitated by a meteor strike, but the result was not a worldwide flood.

It is true that those who believe in science don't accept any proof that it is not true or not sufficient to save anyone or not correct in many ways.

Those rejecting science don't accept any proof that it is truthful, nor that it is sufficient to save anyone nor that it is correct in may ways.

Whatever people put their faith in and follow, that is their god.

Thank you. It was something I compiled over a period of time. I wanted to place what I believe are the heavy hitter evidences into one place to prove to some that the Bible is divinely inspired and 100% reliable.

There is one video that I would like to add that I did not place yet in the article (that I need to add). It is a scene from a Christian movie. I am not even wild about the movie or the series overall, but this one scene was really powerful in helping to add a link in the chain of evidences that Word of God is true.

Yes, they are some really powerful evidences! I find the Bible numerics particularly mind-boggling.

While I do not like Mike Hoggard's regular video sermons, I do like his video series on Biblical Numerics. He just presents the facts of what the Bible says with numbers in the King James bible. Here a few of them you may like:

Side Note:

Unlike Pastor Mike Hoggard and other KJV only proponents, I also use Modern Translations to help update what it says in the KJV.

I didn't find any evidence at all for a worldwide flood in that video. Lots of unsupported assertions, but no evidence. Perhaps someone could explain to me the evidence they found most compelling.

Peter I believe speaks of the destruction of the earth by fire. He compares it to the flood of Noah and that flood destruction. Will Peters destruction also only be local...or world wide?

I only replied because part of your reply said....."Nothing theologically is lost by admitting the flood was a localized".

Personally I think a lot is lost.

Good video. Of the points made I only have a problem with point 4....as I believe the highest mountains that contain sea originating fossils on were raised up near the end of the flood or after the flood as the continents collided rapidly.
I don't think the flood water level covered Mt. Everest.

I was addressing his reply on Biblical numerics.
If he is interested, he will check them out. If not, then that is his choice.
For me: I don't see why a Christian would not get excited about any evidence for God's Word. Any evidence is awesome. I see global flood evidence as just one link of the chain of the evidences that back up God's Word. The same is true with Biblical numerics. Evidences for God's Word is evidence in my view.

Technically, it's just an observation. Not one person can give us even one example of convincing evidence from the video. I sure couldn't find any.

A position that you didn't support.

No one else seems to be able to find anything convincing either. I was hoping at least one person could actually cite some evidence from the video. I guess not. If you can think of anything at all in the video that's convincing evidence, come on back and tell us about it.
