Absolutely.By your own logic then that Roman God is real. Right?
Of course you do.Absolutely.
We call them "fallen angels" though, not "Roman Gods."
As Satan put it:
Isaiah 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
As God puts it:
Isaiah 44:6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
You bet I do.Of course you do.
They. Are. Not. Real. You bet I do.
I'm not obligated to make the dean's list because I'm being taught people believed they were gods.
The Bible exposes them as fallen angels.
You ended your sentences too soon.They. Are. Not. Real.
So did you learn anything? or do you still think Saturday is named after a belief in a god, that's really a fallen angel in disguise? No. I said exactly what I meant to say.
Of course. The special pleading defence - it beats allcomers with a simple handwave.Absolutely.

It's the 'just my beliefs under another name' ploy. It typically implies that the original believers were mistaken about their own beliefs... which is hubris a level beyond the appropriation and revision of pagan festivals to Christian ones.Of course. Either that, or it's called monotheismOf course. The special pleading defence - it beats allcomers with a simple handwave.
As defined by that rigged vote in Nicaea?Either that, or it's called monotheism

I go with self-realization.As defined by that rigged vote in Nicaea?
Nah, I'll stick with special pleading ftw.
To paraphrase George Orwell, All interpretations of the bible are equal but MY interpretation is more equal than yours.Ironically though the same could be applied in reverse. This is where I don't evangelicals realize the implications of this. By implying or stating that everyone else is wrong about their respective beliefs, the evangelical is just opening the door to that their own beliefs are perceived as wrong.
Nicaea was a joke.As defined by that rigged vote in Nicaea?
