today i overdosed. it wasnt my first time, but it was my first time i got taken to hospital. it was horrible. so anyway plz pray for me plz...and my family and friends n yeh...

Why did you do it?
Do you think you would do it again?
Do you think it's time you look for help?

I don't mean to pry, but ask yourself these questions. If today wasn't your first time and it was so bad that you ended up in hospital, you need to do something drastic or you may not be posting here next time it happens.

If you ever want to talk, about anything, PM me. I've been down that road but I've come back up. If you want my help, I can give it to you. But I suggest you think about maybe if you need someone to talk to, like a counsellor or psychiatrist. If you want to start by just talking to a friend, I am here.

To be honest it doesnt sound like you care. And it really sounds like you did it on purpose and didnt really sound like you werent going to do it again. You need help and if there is a "god" then have him help if thats necessary.

Edit: Pills arent made for popping. Do something harmless (weed) if you must.

ChampKt--- You know not everyone who overdoses wants to die---I suspect that you are one of them and I suspect that you are asking for help and it would be a lot easier on your system if you just said, "I am in pain and I need someone to hear me because I hurt."

I am so glad you asked for prayer because that is a right way to ask for help. The other way you asked for it only makes people mad and disgusted and they do not feel for you or give you the kind of attention that you really want or need.

My friend, it is time to stop overdosing, the next time you could actually die or worse yet, live on machines and not be able to get help.

thanks guyz...(yes this is me...my new account) yeh the overdose want coz i wanted to die. i dont want to die. i just want to get away from all the pain. i want it all to stop. its just my way...of coping wif it. im home now. i was only there for 6 hours. i was asked if i was safe enuf to go home and coz i didnt want to stay any longer i said i was (and i really was!). so yeah...my parents have been ok. they've been supportive. coz like i do struggle wif cutting and an eating disorder. so they try to be careful and all. but thanks guyz for all ur prayers!

Do you feel like you're trapped in some areas of life? You don't have to say which--just write them down and think about whether you have other choices. Like if you're doing something because it feels like others are making you (besides school, that doesn't count). Then ask yourself if you're around anyone who constantly demeans you (your high standards for yourself don't count). Are there any changes you can make that seemed impossible, but might be worth doing?

now that I know more specifics, I wanted to let you know that www.settingcaptivesfree.com also offers a free course on food issues. And my website listed on my profile pages is mainly about recovery, including lots of verses.

In addition, CF Recovery forum has rooms on substance abuse, self-Injury support, and eating disorders.

I noticed you posted under non-Christians. I hope you will consider making the decision to trust in Christ to be your sinbearer and to get you to Heaven one day, without relying on your good works or promises. (see verses below in my signature) If I hadn't made that decision, my life would be a total wreck by now, instead of one full of love and meaning.

Jer 29:11-14
11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. [sincerely seek]
14 I will be found by you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back from captivity. ...(NIV)

In addition, having seen many people freed from deep emotional pain by Christian counseling and Christian recovery groups such as Overcomers Outreach, I ask you to please consider such things for yourself. I mention Christian because I have seen the best results from them. They "renew your mind", like in these verses:

Rom 12:1-2
1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God-- this is your spiritual act of worship.
2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-- his good, pleasing and perfect will.
(NIV)

Then you will be able to say:

"My mess has become my message, and my misery has become my ministry."​
