Even though I graduated I had learning disabilities and struggled. I want my children to not have to go through that and I know based on brain research the 1st 5 years are the most critical time and we are their 1st teachers.

Welcome. That's interesting. I think I had something like that too. My GPA was a 2.4 in highschool, would have been lower but pulled it up the last semester. And I graduated from college with a 2.75, 125credits. I would agree on learning in the early years, I'm playing catch up now. THere's a book out called The gift of Dyslexia and I guess it has teaching methods for kids that struggle, not sure if that helps any. God bless.

Interesting Factoid #1: I have managed forum-style RPG sites for several years. The most recent will celebrate its 3rd anniversary on June 14th.

Interesting Factoid #2: I believe that one of a writer’s best resources for their works is their dreams. I get some interesting things from mine.

Interesting Factoid #3: You are never too old to go back to school.

Interesting Factoid #4: You are never too old to realize a dream- no matter how old or how silly the dream may seem.

Interesting Factoid #5: Some times I use the writing format RPG as a way to workout my writer’s block… It may not always work- but when it does… It’s GRAND!!

Interesting Factoid #6: I was raised in the Episcopal Church and eventually changed to Southern Baptist.

Interesting Factoid #7: I have never dated a believer. (which is why I've had 'problems' in relationships)

Educational Goal: finish my associates in English and then transfer to University of Iowa.

Career Goal: Legal Profession, I would like to be a lawyer- or work in the publishing industry.

Personal Goal: Get down to my ideal weight of 140.

Family Goal: One of these days I pray that I’ll meet the right guy and marry… Kids are a different story, I’m still not sure of.

Financial Goal: To own my first home by my 40th birthday… 5 years and counting. I’m thinking about a condo.

Social Goal: I’m taking this one – one day at a time.

Fellowship Goal: To fulfill my calling of missions.

Interesting Factoid #1: I was in Pres. Reagans 2 Inauguration Day Parade ... it was the one that was cancelled and done another day as a matter of fact it was that cold that year. But we were practicing that morning anyways. Frost bite galore.

Interesting Factoid #2: I could see the smoke from 9/11 from where I was.... interesting yes, but I wish I never saw that and I will never forget it

Interesting Factoid #3: My entire family has served and some has died in all the wars and military police actions since Korea. My Step Brother is in Iraq now. My Father was in Viet Nam ( he passed in Nov) My Grandfather was in WW2, and my Great Uncle died in Korea. I am an Army Brat actually.

Interesting Factoid #4: I went to school with Debra Messing from Will and Grace was in my class, I have seen her when she did Annie and things like that on a Highschool stage lol strange when I think about it
