now i have somehow formed an outlook on sin and am curious as to what other people think of it...... ok sin is defined by the laws that are blatantly and notso blatantly found within the bible. and all these laws are founded for a reason and the some of the reasons for which have not been found until recently (through science, research, etc.) like the law.... "do not become drunk with wine". this was put into place cause God knew that we would want to get drunk all the time..... but this destroys our livers which defiles the body that god gave us and brings us closer to death. this we didn't know until just a hundred years ago or so. the law "thou shalt not kill". this was put into place cause all it would take is one person to kill another and it would be a chain reaction until there was only one person left. and then that person would eventually die and the human race would fail. all the sins in this world brings earthly consequences and god sees them as the same thing. like if i were to tell a lie then it would be the same as joe shmoe going out and offing a whole ton of people, IN GODS EYES............ we sin everyday whether we like it or not. it is part of our sinful nature. we will never be perfect. so is it ok to sin with just the earthly consequences in mind (cause every sin was established for a logical reason and has an earthly consequence)..... cause to God it doesn't make a difference, right? just as long as we accept the fact that he forgives us no matter what we do. and his blood cleanses us from all our sin. so yeah any input on this would be helpful or just plan interesting for the sake of conversation. oh and sorry for the length of this.
