  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yes, but I feel that way about my life in general. I went on a mission trip last summer with 60 other people and a month after the trip people come up to me (people who were ON the trip) when I'm wearing my team t-shirt and say "you were on the mission trip?" I had weekly meetings with these people twice a month for half a year and spend 10 days on a trip with them yet they have no clue who I am. That kind of thing happens to me a lot. I guess I don't make much of an impression on people or something.

 Hi~Sometimes I feel left out, or that I am on the outside looking in. I think that Satan, at times, will cause us to feel that way, he does not want us to experience what good things the Lord has for us, so, he gives us these thoughts of inadequatcy. He just can not stand it when Christians are fellowshipping and having a great time in the Lord, so, he gives us those "outsider" feelings.

We need to see these feelings for what they are, rebuke the devil and continue to worship all the more.:amen: :preach:

I kinda feel like that, but it's more I get intimidated. Like, one of my good Christian friends is really strong in her faith and God is all she talks about. Well, when I'm around her and other Christians I prefer not to say anything because I feel as though she leaves me out because she is always right. If that makes sense? Hope so...

I feel that way to all the time, even my moms feels that way at the church sometimes too. Everybody has their little cliques and groups of friends and I find it hard to feel included. Yes they are nice to you but it seems Im always on the outside of these groups. Im not a very outgoing person either so Im to blame to, but i dont think I will connect with anyone.

I used to feel that way all the time
Like the people at my church only hung by themselves
And didn't make it a point to invite me
Felt very lonely and didn't feel good
Now I am in a group where I am accepted and welcomed by them.:amen:
