Since I'm graduating from college, my husband and I have been trying to find a home church. The last two weeks, we've visited different churches, and we're going on our next stop this Sunday. So far, both churches are good, but I've been to both before so I knew what to expect. But when it comes to the right church, we're not stopping until we find it. Anyone else go to a church in central Indiana?

I go to church in West-Central Illinois but that doesn't count What are you looking for in a church people/doctrine-wise? Just curious myself, and I might be able to help you find something.

As Zoness wrote, we'd probably have a better chance of locating what you are after if you give us a list of key ingredients you are looking for which can be identified with certain denominations. The folks who visit this forum are scattered all over North America, New Zealand and Australia, Britain, and beyond, so finding someone who knows a congregation--from personal experience--in anyone's particular locale is unlikely.

I want a Christian church (I'm non denominational), but I want something modern. I would prefer for the worship team to be awesome, great new songs to sing, and a fresh message to hear. I'm not picky when it comes to a big or small church either.

You will more easily find a good fit when you search yourself first. What do you believe in regards to the gospel and doctrine? It's not good to attend church just to do so, but to be unified with believers - in spirit and mind.

Why don't you check the phone book to see if there is a Calvary Chapel in your area. It sounds like it might be the kind of thing you are looking for. I am by no means claiming it to be the best, but it might be right down your alley.

i am also looking for a good church near my home and i am living in Berkeley because i ofter visit church for pray normally on Sunday.
