  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

In our Bible, we are told: God does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants. Amos 3:7 Paul says: We are not in the dark, the Day of sudden destruction will not come upon us like a thief. 1 Thessalonians 5:1-6

We see in 2 Thessalonians 2:11… God puts those who do not open their minds to the love of the truth, under a compelling delusion, which makes them believe what is false. Then in Isaiah 29:9-14, talking to us, that is: the Christian peoples, the Laodicean Church of today; we are…. pitiful wretches, we attend ‘church’ but our hearts are far from the Lord. Our worship is by rote and made up of rules taught from men. Therefore once more the Lord will astound His people, shock and amaze us.
Most of us won’t know His plans, because the wisdom of the wise will be removed and the discernment of the intelligent will be lost. Matthew 11:25

The Day is coming; When the wicked and godless will vanish and all who love evil will be cut down. Isaiah 29:20-21, Isaiah 66:15-17, Psalm 83, Rev. 6:12-17
Then: In that Day; the deaf will hear the words of scripture and the blinded will see through the impenetrable darkness. Isaiah 29:18 & 24 The lowly will once again rejoice in the Lord, as the Holy Land is regenerated into a fruitful garden Land. Ezekiel 36:8, Amos 9:13-15, Isaiah 35

That Day of fire and tempest, Malachi 4:1-3, is not a Day for all who believe in the Lord to panic or be frightened, for Righteousness will rise among them, as the Lord heals the wounds [of spiritual and physical exile, Ezekiel 37] inflicted upon His people. Isaiah 30:25-30, Zephaniah 3:8-10, Revelation 7:9-17, Luke 21:26-28

This is what we look forward to, our great hope for the future:
Ezekiel 34:11-16 Now, [that is: soon after the Day of the Lord’s wrath against the nations] I, Myself will search for and gather My people, I will rescue them for wherever they are scattered after that Day of cloud and darkness. I shall lead them out of the nations, Micah 2:12-13, Psalms 107, Isaiah 35 and bring them home to their own country. I shall make a Covenant with them to ensure peace and prosperity and they will have good leaders. Ezekiel 34:23-31, Jeremiah 30:21, Hosea 1:11

After they are settled, Jeremiah 30 & 31, the Lord will summon Gog to come down from the north and invade the Land recently restored from ruin, whose people are gathered from many nations and are now settled and prosperous. Ezekiel 38:8
This is in order for the Lord, through His people, to show Himself great and holy to the nations. Ezekiel 38:16

Later, the Leader of the One World Government, a ten region confederation, Daniel 7:24, Rev 17:12-13, will come to the new nation of Beulah, Isaiah 62:1-5, and make a seven year treaty of peace with them. Daniel 9:27, He will break it at the mid-point and invade Beulah. Zechariah 14:1-2

Those people who refused to agree to a treaty with the leader of the OWG, will be taken to a place of safety for the final 3 ½ years of this age. Revelation 12:14

Those who did agree, Isaiah 28:14-15, must remain., Revelation 12:17
But this conquest of the holy Christian peoples, Daniel 7:25, Revelation 15:5-8, will trigger the Great Tribulation trumpet and bowl punishments.

Then; 1260 days later, the Lord Jesus will Return, Revelation 19:11-21, destroying those attackers of Jerusalem, bind up Satan and commence His Millennial reign.

Verse 5 says ‘the Lord dwells on high’. So, before His Return, we see in verses 3-4 & 10-11, the nations as at present and in V14 Judah’s judgement. V15-16 say His faithful people will live prosperously in the Land, then V17-24 speaks of the Return of Jesus and His reign during the Millennium.

keras, if in your scenario, the Gog/Magog attack takes place on a newly formed Christian nation of Beulah - then why in Ezekiel 39:22 it says....

Ezekiel 39:22 So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward.

Currently, the house of Israel, the Jews, don't believe that Jesus is the LORD their God. But Christians do.

So a Christian nation would already be aware who Jesus is - and Ezekiel 39:22 would not apply. Therefore, the nation in Ezekiel 39 that gets attacked by Gog/Magog is the present nation of Israel.

No; it isn't. they face Judgment and punishment and only a remnant will survive.

Jesus will reveal Himself to the faithful Christian peoples. 1 Thess 1:19, Revelation 14:1
As it is now, He is hidden from us, but we believe in Him despite there being no visible proof of His existence.

The Jews are NOT the House of Israel, they are the House of Judah. This is fundamental for understanding the Prophetic Word, and shows why your beliefs and charts are wrong.

karas, Christians know that Jesus is God.

The ones on Ezekiel 39:22, do not know that Jesus is God, until that day.

The Jews are NOT the House of Israel, they are the House of Judah.
The Jews are of the house of Israel, who went into captivity into the nations for rejecting Jesus.

Ezekiel 39:23 And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.

Matthew 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

We believe in God, but only by faith.
When we go to live in the holy Land, before He Returns; He will reveal Himself to His people. Revelation 14:1 proves it.
The Jews are of the house of Israel, who went into captivity into the nations for rejecting Jesus.
Originally, they were, but in King Rehoboam's time, they divided into 2 Houses.
The House of Israel, the ten Northern tribes were conquered in 722 BC and remain in 'captivity' to this day. Judah went to Babylon 135 years later, then back to the holy Land and now again, this time falsely calling themselves - Israel.
Matthew 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Judah, the Jews, rejected and killed Jesus. They remain in apostasy and denial. Did Jesus fail in His mission?
No; He saved the House of Israel, who we Christians are today, Proved by Galatians 6:14-16

keras, Gog's army will be destroyed on the mountains of "Israel" not upon the mountains of "Beulah".

Ezekiel 39:4 Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.

The Great Promises of God to His People:

Ezekiel 28:24-26 The Lord God says: When I gather the House of Israel from the nations among whom they are now scattered and I have been reverenced by them, as the nations will see, then they will live in their heritage, all of the Holy Land that I promised to My servant Jacob.

They will have security there, building houses and planting vineyards, yes, they will dwell in confidence and safety, when I have executed My judgements upon all their contemptuous neighbours. They will no longer have to fear any threats from ungodly peoples around them and they will know that I am the Lord their God
. KJV, CJB, REB.

This short prophecy encapsulates the truth of what every righteous Christian can expect for their future. Sadly, not many can see this future, because of beliefs in false teachings and inability to discern the prophesies correctly.

We know from New Testament teaching that Christian peoples now belong to the House of Israel, whether they are true descendants of Jacob or not. But in order for God’s promises to the Patriarchs to be fulfilled, the majority, now ‘scattered among the nations’, WILL, in fact, be their descendants. Only God knows who they all are. Amos 9:9

All of the Lord’s righteous people will be gathered soon after ‘a Day of cloud and darkness’, Ezekiel 34:12 Ezekiel 20:34-38. That will be the many prophesied and well described ‘Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath’, the Sixth Seal worldwide disaster of fire from the sun, Malachi 4:1, 2 Peter 3:7, that will destroy His enemies, Isaiah 66:15-16 and enable God’s plan for His people to ‘display His glory for all the nations to see’, Ezekiel 39:27, to be fulfilled. Proving that all this will happen before the Return of Jesus for His Millennium reign.

The people of the new nation of Beulah, Isaiah 62:1-5, having passed through the ‘great ordeal’ of the Day of wrath, Luke 21:35, Revelation 7:1-17, will select their own leaders, Jeremiah 30:21, Hosea 1:11, they will build a new Temple, Zechariah 6:15, Haggai 2:6-9, they will send out 144,000 missionaries to proclaim the coming Kingdom of Jesus, and after all that is prophesied before the Return takes place, it is them who say: ‘Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord’!

Only God knows who they all are. Amos 9:9
We know the Kohans, the descendants of Aaron. We do not know the other 11 tribes. We have to trust God that He has kept them pure before HIm. As we are told they are virgins. The only people I know who have maintained this purity are the Hasidics. The emphasis on purity in these communities aligns with the biblical ideal of being set apart for God.

God’s Holy People in the Last Days:
Isaiah 62:1-12... ..They will be called the holy people; the Redeemed of the Lord.

Daniel 8:23-26 In the last days, when sin is most prevalent, a powerful leader will arise. He will succeed in whatever he does, and will take control of the mighty nations and of God’s holy people. By cunning and deceit, his plans will come about and cause great harm to many when they least expect it. He will challenge even the Prince of Princes, but then will be broken, but not by human hand.
This prophecy tells of events to happen in the distant future.

Daniel 7:23-25 The explanation given is: There will be a 4th kingdom, one that will encompass the whole earth. Initially ten rulers will govern it, but another leader will take over all this kingdom. He will defy the Most High God and will conquer the holy ones of God.

Revelation 13:7 The ‘beast’ is allowed to wage war on God’s people and to defeat them…. Vividly described in Zechariah 14:1-2

Daniel 11:32 By plausible promises he will win over those who will violate the Covenant, but some will resolutely keep their faith.
The Covenant here, is the one between God and His people, for their protection.

The treaty, the 7 year peace agreement of Daniel 9:27, is between the Leader of the One World Govt, and the leaders of the Christian nation of Beulah. It will be broken by the leader of the OWG after the first 3 1/2 years. Daniel 11:31

These Bible prophesies are proof that God’s holy people, His chosen elect people; all those true born again Christian believers; the One people of God, Ephesians 4:4-6, are not removed from the earth, as some would like to think, but are present in the holy Land during the last few years of this age.

As we see in Daniel 11:32 and in Zechariah 14:2b, they divide into two groups, one remaining in the holy Land and the other goes away. Revelation 12:6-17 again shows these two groups; the faithful ones who refused the peace treaty with the leader of the World Govt, taken to a place of safety and those who did agree; Isaiah 28:14-15, must remain. Revelation 12:17

The fact of all the righteous Christians living in all of the Holy Land, before the Return of Jesus, is well prophesied in all of the Bible. Many do not see it because of false teachings and not comprehending the truth of how Christians are now to be the recipient’s of the promises of God, given initially to ethnic Israel, but now available to all true believers. 2 Corinthians 1:20

We Christians look forward to being at last the people God has always wanted in His holy Land.
That is our promise and our great privilege; to be alive to participate at this critical time of mankind’s history.

I think people get what they bargain for. According to your faith. Matthew 9:29, He says, "According to your faith let it be done to you." If you think you will be present then I have no doubt that you will be.

It seems that those who do believe in a rapture, are incapable of understanding Prophesies like the ones I presented in #12.

As for me, I look forward to the fulfilment of the wonderful Promises of God to those who stand firm in their faith through all that must happen before Jesus Returns.

I assume you are talking about a pretrib rapture. We are all raptured when we die. The church age is coming to an end and the Kingdom age is beginning. I believe in the year 2029. I do not know how we are going to transition from one age or era to the next and I do not know if Jesus return is physical or symbolic. So why don't you tell me what you know and what you believe about all of this.

To multitude of people who believe they are on earth saved and will be "in heaven",

when they are resurrected to judgment, Jesus tells them bye bye. I never knew you. (regardless of what they think).

We are talking about pre, mid and post trib rapture. You want to tak about those that are: "Left Behind". For me a very important book is: ""In His Steps: What Would Jesus Do?" by Charles Monroe Sheldon. First published in 1896, it has become a classic in Christian literature. The novel challenges readers to consider how their lives would change if they consistently asked themselves, "What would Jesus do?" before making decisions."

I did try to follow the teachings of that book for a year. It is not easy. I think the biggest area is what people do for a living. Jesus lived HIs life as an example for us to follow. I have tried to have a conversation on here about that verse.

"resurrected to judgment" takes place at the end of the kingdom age. Revelation 20:11-15

  • Matthew 25:31-46 speaks of the separation of the sheep and goats, where Christ judges the nations at His return. This is often associated with the end of the tribulation period and the beginning of the Millennial Kingdom.
  • This judgment focuses on how individuals treated others, especially the "least of these" (interpreted as believers or those in need).

So Jesus promised the thief on the Cross a "cop out" after the thief experienced an excruciating death? Perhaps Jesus should have told the thief, the thief could enter Paradise prior to physical death?

How does that work out that no one can go to Paradise for thousands of years, and then still cannot, because there is no more Paradise when the GWT Judgment takes place. Why did Jesus lie to the thief about Paradise, if no one would ever go there, period?

Paradise does not exist past the point of heaven and earth passing away.

How can all those in heaven descend in the New Jerusalem if no one was ever there to begin with?

Are you saying that all on earth can only enter after the city is on the earth?

The Garden of Eden, Paradise, and the New Jerusalem are all different forms of the same location. A vast area that is centered around the Tree of life. It was the original home of Adam and Eve. A place where all their descendants would be at home and together. Yet you claim no one can ever go there. Why should any one go there even as the New Jerusalem? Seems being banned then is just as legitimate as now. Why are you not consistent?
