Dear Heavenly Father,
Your undeserved favor has made it possible for us to be saved from our sin. Thank You! You have shown and continue to show us Your amazing grace. Thank You! Use us to tell others about You and what You have done. Thank You!
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ,
Amen ( so be it ).
God does not give us what we deserve. I deserve to go to hell for all of the sin I've committed. I broke 9 out of the 10 commandments, yet God has graced me with His favor as with a shield. He has blessed me by being my dad. He is a father to the fatherless and I'm one of His adopted daughters. I am passionate about God!!! Eternal life is a gift from God and so is every single day that we get to breathe and live. We cannot earn grace by our human works. We are saved by grace through faith in Christ.
Romans 5:8 While we were still sinners, Jesus Christ died for us.

Hebrews, too, gives a wonderful truth panorama of the Person and Word of the Lord Jesus; I find myself quoting from Hebrews even more than from Romans.

Thank you for your reply. The more we worry about our problems, the more we lose faith in God Who is bigger than our problems.

The Lord Jesus is indeed 'Alpha and Omega', 'the beginning and the ending', 'the first and the last' (Revelation 1).

Our world is full of broken, hurting people, but we don't have to worry about what we can't do. We do what we can do and leave the rest in God's capable hands. Our God is a God of the supernatural and He can be trusted to do what only He can do.

Yes, that's true. I cry for God when pro-athletes and other popular celebrities don't/won't acknowledge the fact that God is The One Who gave them their talent. God is The Source of creativity and wisdom.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Help us to have open hands for You to give and take as You please. Increase our faith as we remember that there is nothing that we have that we obtained on our own. It's all Yours.
1Chronicles 29:14, "Everything we have has come from You, and we give You only what You first gave us."
If we hold tightly to anything given to us, unwilling to let it go when the time comes to let it go or unwilling to allow it to be used as the Giver means it to be used, we stunt the growth of the soul......quoted from the book,"Passion and Purity" by Elisabeth Elliott.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You that Your love is rich and pure, measureless and strong!
In Romans 8:38-39, the apostle Paul reminds us that God's love is at the core of how we live, and he tells us that "neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord".
God's love is so strong,available, and stabilizing that we can confidently step into each day knowing that the good things are gifts from His hand and the challenges can be faced in His strength. For all of life, His love is what matters most. Amen & Hallelujah!
