For those of you who are Orthodox, could you tell me please what is different about your church when compared to the Catholic Church.

I'll be having no debates.

I only wish for answers, and then maybe to ask more information of you therefore after if you wouldn't mind. (n_n)

I am not going to be responsible for any arguments that may take place in this thread. You will have to fight your own battle with the Catholics that may come flooding in.

The main differences that divide our respective Churches (there are others, these are the major ones) are:

1. Papal Supremacy
2. The filioque
3. Original sin as defined by St. Augustine
4. The Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary
5. Purgatory

The Orthodox Church rejects all of the above. I suggest you read "The Orthodox Church" by Timothy Ware, as it will tell you all you need to know about the Orthodox Church, and why the Roman Catholic Church split from us in 1054.

In fact, OBOB would simply shut down the thread as soon as possible after its very creation.

Let us not forget the personal attacks and accusations of being heretics, intruders, grudge-holders and misinformed.

Why do you reject the immaculate conception of Mary?

....and why do you reject the Pope.

Scripture you do not have to provide if you can't be bothered. Just tell me why your church rejects these CC ideas.
