What says that?kyteroo said:It says that unless one believes that the messiah has come and forgave you of your sins, one can not have eternal life.
Have you ever tried to fulfill all 613 commandments in the Torah? We fail miserably. I've tried, and I can't.
I believe in yeshua the messiah too, but I don't think that takes HaShem or salvation away from faithful Jews, who statistically/theology speaking, act, believe and speak more like Yeshua then the majority of christians(messianics too for that matter). When I was 33, Messianic Jews prayed to HaShem for my auditory dyslexia to be healed. They ended the prayer with b'shem Yeshua HaMashiach Amen. I was healed. My sister was 20. she called me to tell me all about her concert she attended knowing full well that I wouldn't understand her anyhow. Imagine her surprise when I parroted back to her what she had told me. I was never able to do this before. I couldn't make sense of the sounds I heard to even guess at what word she had said. She cried. Now I ask you, how can HaShem even think of healing me when we just blasphemed His Name by attaching Yeshua to it.
Not to dis you in anyway, but that is a very bad reason to believe.(IMO)Because I was healed, I had to conclude that Yeshua is one of the 3 parts of HaShem.
I think I agree with what your saying here too.(Ruach Kodesh is a part because of what Rashi taught- ground HaShem walks on is Holy, Ruach mentioned in the Torah speaks of HaShem's Ruach and not Avraham's. Thus HaShem's Ruach must be Holy or Kodesh. Alvinu, Father, is the other part because in our Orthodox Siddurs we pray Alvinu Malchanu. Didn't HaShem create us? Isn't He our Father?
If you mean the Brit Hadashah then I would disagree. It also says that we need to be born again.
Not getting in to too much detail here, did King David accept the Messiah? This means that we have to accept the Messiah as well into our souls to reign with HaShem.
I say he did, maybe not in word(by which can lie and also insights hate,cures,blasphmy...) but in the heart(which true and is pure), and that is what matters. Why would this not still apply today?
