really did not expect this to be this interesting and well done. leonardo dicapprio was co producer..one of them. this little 12 yr old can act! it was sad,funny,scary..everything.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My boyfriend & I saw this day after opening. It was a thriller I won't forget. I do appeciate a good story and good acting with my horror films and this gave both.

I watched the movie a few days ago,Loved it.

Ok...I don't really like horror flicks. It's not that they are too dark or too scary, in general, they come off as too stupid,lol. So I didn't want to see this because I read about the spoiler. BUT.....it had two amazing actors in it and I thought...how in the world did they agree to it?? Also...my oldest wanted to see it and I wasn't signing off without seeing it myself.
This movie was so surprisingly good!! I mean, yes..the story twist was good, the young actor was amazing....the young deaf actress was amazing and this was her first film....but truly, it was directed and written very well. I loved the banter between dh and wife....it seemed very genuine. I just thoroughly enjoyed this movie. And we almost named our new dog Esther! lol(but our old dog was Edith...too similar)

I've been looking forward to this movie for a long time, it should be coming in my netflix delivery within the next two weeks (hopefully, it's been on "Long Wait" since the release date of the dvd).
I'm glad to hear all the positive reviews, since most horror/psychological thrillers in this day suck IMO.
Will give my review when I get the DVD.
