Hey,

I am the assitant to the organists at our church. (which, of course, is just some big words for saying that when she is sick or out of town that I play.) There are a few othe responsibilities, but not much.

What kind of music are you into? High, Trad. Reformed/Evangelical, or modern?

I mainly play traditional Evangelical stuff because that is how I was raised and what I like. Sometimes I play some High Church music. (not too fancy, though. Don't want to upset the deacons and elders! :D )

I also play the harpsichord and clavichord. Yeah, I'm one of those big early music nerds.

Hi Puriteen & Bohemian!

Sorry I've just now gotten back in and responded. I'm also an assistant-organist for now, at least while I'm in school. I'm like you, mainly into the more Traditional works, because it is what I was raised with. I'm starting to branch out now, little by little, seeing what fits each Sunday, and what people can have enough of :)

Harpsichord is something I want to start lessons on if I can fit it in my schedule! I think it would be neat to really study. I've accompanied a couple of people with it, but not overly difficult pieces! Take care!
