Does anyone know if there are official orange SI bracelets--and if so, where can I get one? I'd really like to have one, as I'm a SI'er.

The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. Yes, there are... but you usually can only get them on Pro-SI forums. And I dont suggest going to them. They are VERY triggering and disturbing. It's better to make your own. That way you can be creative and it's also a good way to calm a trigger too.

I am going to make one for me - if anyone wants me to make one PM me your address and I'll send one. I make friendship bracelets so I'm thinking I could make the bracelet and put orange beads in to it. I will post a picture of one later on

These are pictures of the bracelets I make - I can do them in any colour and put orange beads on and apparently those who used to SI get white ones too. Anyway I can send them anywhere because they are light and easy to make. If you PM me I can get an address and you can let me know what colour you want. These can be SI awareness bracelets for CF users

That is the only place I can ever seem to find any and it is not based here in the US at all. I definatley want to get or try to make one. I do not have much patience or talent in that area..so I am thinking buying one is my best bet.

This is the colour coding I was thinking - this way you can decide what you want:
Orange: Self Injury Awareness
Orange and White: Self Injury Awareness for Recoverers
Blue: Child Abuse Awareness - a new blue ribbon was added to the armory for child abuse
Red: Depression Awareness
If you have any others and want a bracelet PM me with your thread colours and bead colours and I'll see what I can do!!!

I bought some from a different site a couple of weeks ago ..they're 40p ..its isnt a pro-si site either because i dont go to them. If anyone wants to know the adress of the site then please ask me and i'll tell u who makes them. Also i bought one off recoveryourlife. They took weeks to come through though ...but they're worth it.

Yeah I'm not making them all in official colours...... because there was a child abuse ribbon added and it's blue - that's why!!!

I think bracelets sound like a cool idea. I love doing crafts and stuff like that so I'd enjoy making one.
