Well, you wouldn't have to put it that way, but sweetie, would you not feel responsible for them? Would you not feel convicted of the Holy Ghost if you did not give them the love of God by way of your testimony? If you know the truth and fail to give them the truth knowing the eternal consequences that they would face, would you not feel guilty on judgment day to see them go to hell knowing that you had the words of life that could have saved them?Mark2010 said:I have no doubt that Jesus saves. Mark2010 said:I have often wondered about this. What conclusion are we to make of someone, raised in a foerign land in a different cultural setting, who has been taught from birth that Islam, or Hinduism, or something else is true, and has no reason to question that. They are devout in their beliefs, live a good moral life and do basically the same things Christians do. Yet, to that person, Christianity sounds as fake as we might view the religion of their land.
Are we to conclude that God doesn't accept them because they were born with a cultural bias other than Christian?

I honestly don't know the answer. Perhaps there are multiple roads leading to the same destination. I know what I believe, but am not so arrogant as to proclaim superiority over the rest of humanity. How then does one balance the belief that God loves the entire world with the belief that Christianity is the only path that leads to God and to eternal life?
Hey Jim, you Texans have been biased toward Oprah ever since "beefgate".Jim M said:Cmon guys, the Very and Always Right Reverend Dr. Oprah has spoken. We should drop the subject.

Actually, I like Oprah. But she ought to leave theology to the theologians.andry said:Hey Jim, you Texans have been biased toward Oprah ever since "beefgate".
Everybody repeat: Texas beef, yummy. Granola bars, not so yummy.

My query is who are we to judge that. In fact we are told not to judge others because when we do we bring judgement on ourselves.
David selpt with another man's wife got her pregnant so got the husband killed - does that make him a bad person. Actually God said he was a man after his own heart. From this point of view we need to be really careful when we start to point the finger
