This is nothing new, if you think about it she never used to say anything pertaining to Christ, only God or higher power and that could be because she has not experienced Christ on a real level. Her baptist upbringing has nothing to do with her hearts refusal to receive. She is a woman who has spent her life doing right things with the right intent, but she has bad content. I would pray mightily over her because as old as that show is, does not mean that things have not changed for her. She mentions Christ now more than I have seen her before so I am hoping that she is receiving more of Him on some level. She needs our prayers, our love and our acceptance of whatever ignorance she is experiencing, but ultimately it is our responsibility to love her enough to not want to see her perish for lack of knowledge. Keep her in your prayers so that she stays covered until her season in Christ is come.

There is a fellow on our board of directors who does all the right things. If you examined his life vs. the life of some Christians and had to pick who really served God, it might be not be a clear cut decision.
There are tons of really good people in the world who simply don't know God. Worse yet, they are aware of God, but can't recieve Christ for whatever reason.
It is unfortunate because these people have done good in the world. Maybe not any good in the Kingdom, but if they are doing so well in the world, imagine how they might minister in the Kingdom.

I agree (especialy with the last line), also at least she is letting us know where she stands in her thinking. It might not be biblical thinking but at least with her making this stand we could show her where she is incorrect. Now if she hears what is being said is another story.

I think, for me, I am looking to the Lord for the grace and strength to contend for the faith...have read unsettling things about well known church figures who may not be proclaiming the gospel as I expect them to...as they should be and have done even in the past...I need to be able to stand in the face of "friendly" opposition and people who "seem" to be authorities in this world.Raistlinorr said:

Ahhh I don't realy follow any well know church leaders maybe I should just to see what they are saying. I'm sure the pressures of the worlds eyes looking toward them can be very hard at times. I can not say I envy them and their positions. It takes one that is very humble to remain as such with that many ppl looking your way.
But if like you say they are not proclaiming the gosple as they should then maybe they are becoming what the world wants. For instance Hollywood will make and continue to make movies that are for the biggest part unGodly they do so because the world asks them to make movies like that. I have noticed alot of ideas out there though about how ppl think God should be or what He realy is. These are ideas that go against what is taught in scripture and it's becoming more popular because it seems ppl are wanting more feel good messages. So as long as ppl continue to want happy go lucky mesages instead of the truth they will continue to hear them.
It this warm fuzzy feel good new age garbage thats finding it's way into the gosple.
Ppl want to do things their way instead of Gods way, they want to live like the world and not be punished. The punishment for sin is and always has been death, and the only way to God is through Christ. If ppl refuse to believe this then they are wrong no if's and's or but's about it these things are made very clear in the writen word.
I just pray that I nor any one in my family falls for any of these fluffy new age messages. The thought of this new age fluff pretty much makes me feel sick and I feel very sorry for those who believe such things.

Hehe yeah there are a few that look like they might have some thoughts crossing their minds.

Nah - it's the guy third from right you need to watch - looks way too innocent if you ask me - like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth, but that's only because it would be down his throat so fast it wouldn't have time!
