  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

...was started up by the CIA after The Warren Report (JFK cover-up) failed w/its "creative forensics. It was determined the term "conspiracy theory" had to be demonized immediately and thoroughly.
That's why anti-conspiracy reactionaries feel free to come here with insultingly dismissive comments. But consider the reality of propaganda programming:

I would say each conspiracy consideration needs to be tested on its own individual merit.

There is the merit of if it is true.

And the merit of if it is really anything new.

And if it merits our attention, compared to other attention concerns.

And if there is anything, really, we can do about it, if it is really true.

Satan's kingdom has conspiracies; so conspiracies should not be a surprise. Worldly people conspired to falsely accuse Jesus and have Him crucified. But God used that for His good.

So, we can in prayer test for the merit of how God is able to use a conspiracy or a false one.

But thinking we can change and control conspiracy people can be . . . not so. Plus, we have God Himself resisting the proud > "God resists the proud," we have in James 4:6 and also in 1 Peter 5:5. So, conspiring people are not really in control. So, it is wise not to boast them to be and have more than they do.

Satan and his evil are being kept here on earth for a reason; but they are going to get flushed.

"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; for He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." (1 John 4:4)

The problem with the Kennedy assassination is that there's really no satisfactory explanation for it.

If one buys into the official narrative where Oswald fired three shots from the Book Depository then it's a weird story with a ton of holes in it.

If one buys into some type of conspiracy theory then it's still a weird story with a ton of holes in it.

Normalcy isn't on the menu with the Kennedy assassination no matter which explanation one accepts. So I can understand why the American public tuned it out for all those decades.

in the Kennedy situation I think if you examine motive it might explain the why and not the who or how. Kennedy back then was returning the US to a silver standard and was going to eliminate the Federal reserve. This is the strongest motive and would involve the richest men in the world who would lose the power and control of the government both nationally and internationally as the dollar being the reserve currency and the petro dollar and the means of settlement between foreign exchange. There is a good documentary on the foundation of the Federal reserve called the The Creature From Jeckyl Island. This shows how competitors in banking met in secret and plotted to bring in the 3rd central bank in US history. These families strategy included buying the 20 or 15 largest newspapers in America to gain control of the news to serve their agenda. The link between the media and banking elite has only grown over the years.

...And thank you!
That said, have you any remarks about the topic: "Operation Mockingbird" &/or how it has successfully demonized the term "conspiracy theory"?

Interesting. Well said.
Any thoughts on the topic (Operation Mockingbird & it's demonization of "conspiracy theory")?

Yeah, I think there's only a handful of owners now for all mainstream media outlets. Probably all on a first - name basis.
Thank you for mentioning Jekyl Island. "The Money Masters" offer a history of money on youtube that includes international banking cartels.
Like Lincoln, I think JFK was on the inside, but didn't like it. What he did with his executive order that LBJ immediately rescinded, was a threat to the corporate fascism of what Bill Moyers first mainstreamed as "the deep state".

...So how you like them CIA spooks and their multi media operation on conspiracy theory?
Looks to me like we still have the best government money can buy. ;)

According to what I heard and read > Operation Mockingbird was a C.I.A. operation which used media to try to give Communism a bad name, plus they used media as a cover for operatives in other countries. The cover of being a reporter helped to make it much more easy for a C.I.A. agent to move around.

The United States has the claim in its Constitution, of freedom of the press so ones are free to bring out the truth. So, if an American appears to be a reporter in a foreign country, ones might trust the person . . . assuming the person will be accurate in reporting, since the American is free to report what is true.

However, there have been a number of reporting cases, in which reporters rigged events and falsified reports.

I think, for a spy agency, it would be very practical and clever to have agents posing as reporters. Now, an issue, of course, would be, for what reason? If they were trying to accomplish what really is in the good interest of the United States, and not trying to hurt anyone else who is legal and not hurting people . . . then I would say having an effective and efficient undercover operation can be good. I think that would be practical, and expected.

But is it ever honest to deliberately try to fool other people? It can be.

So, how about how the C.I.A. reportedly used Operation Mockingbird to promote what helped give Communism a bad name? It is said they had media high level people helping, plus they paid certain reporters, to help control what was being said about Communism, and to help cover up certain things which could have been bad for America's reputation . . . I think I understand correctly.

Well, this can depend. While I was a kid, I understood that the United States never did anything wrong to anyone. But . . . now . . . while perhaps certain Communists have done some evil, I see that Americans have, too . . . and possibly citizens have done the most evil to their own selves, often enough. Because Americans in Satan's kingdom are "human", like anyone not with God in any other land.

So, now I might not feel America was so right that she had a right to use media to badmouth Communists by means of false information.

It could work better to not have any cover-ups, but hang out the dirty laundry so ones can see it needs to be washed, if it isn't being washed.

And let the truth speak for itself, about the Communists.

If we are with God, He is able to take care of us, without use of deceit and cover-ups.

But worldly people are going to deceive and be deceived > 2 Timothy 3:13.

Ones could point at the Communists and say, oh we were right to use trickery because look at how bad they are. And now ones can say look at the conspirators; we aren't as bad as they are. Yet, Americans have about a fifty-percent divorce rate, abortion is an industry; and now ones may be saying our average life expectancy in America is down, but they do not point out how drug overdoses are part of this reduced average which might have nothing to do with health of seniors and their life expectancy. Ones have ruined their lives and tortured themselves with cancer, by means of smoking. On we could go.

Who cares if someone else is worse, even if they are????

I think you may have heard wrong.
Demonization of communism was on well before demonization of conspiracy theory.

"Someone else" depends on a false construct of who "us" is to begin with.
To the oligarchs who fund their version of history & the future, ideas of nationalism are just conceptual boxes to keep their livestock (us) corralled.

My opinion is there are citizens who can be trusted with the truth; so it is sad how certain people feel they have to lie to ones who can be trusted to love them.
