I had to look up the term "castor sugar" (at first I thought it was castor oil), because we don't use that term in the US.
You mean powdered sugar?Swart said:You can "make" castor sugar by putting normal sugar in the blender for a few minutes.

CaDan said:From the descriptions I found, is is superfine sugar. Not quite as powdery as powdered sugar and lacking the little bit of starch they mix into powdered sugar to keep it from fusing into a lump.
Huh, never seen that stuff before.Swart said:Correct!
Looks like I spelt it incorrectly!

Looking at the CSR website I saw Demerara sugar. It's heavenly! Great to cook with too!
You might see superfine sugar sold n the US. It's the same thing.Apex said:Huh, never seen that stuff before.
Hmm... I have put sugar in the blender once with my freind but we werent making super fine sugar. The other ingrediants (besides the two cups of sugar) included eggnog, enough coffee beans to make a gallon of coffee, brown sugar, and several other sugary items. It actually tasted pretty good, but we couldnt stop bouncing off the walls for several hours...Swart said:Then just put sugar in the blender until it is super fine.

Your task: Invent a heresy. You must provide a pseudo-Latin name for it.
Swart said:Curtism! From the latin curto which means to shorten or abbreviate.
Curtists inists that everything important can be shortened into one sentence. The idea is that if a little child can't understand it, then it is not important. Truth can be determined by what is simpler to understand.
The motto for Curtist's is "Jesus Good. Satan bad." That is, until someone can find a simpler one.
