  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I do occassionaLLY... NEED TO GET INTO IT MORE... MY MAIN THING IS i CAN'T CLEAN WHEN HE IS HERE
He being your husband or the baby? :)

I know I absolutely have to be off my feet for a minimum of a couple weeks after baby is born...if I don't I just take forever to recover....and so with only possibly a week or two left to go (let's hope it's a little longer)- I feel like I really have to get things in order to to tide us over for the next month to six weeks. ANd the house being chaos is also really hard for me post partum-- it's like I hve this drive for order. I make the kids pick up like every 30 minutes- I must be driving them nuts!!

Yeah-I have to be careful of burnout! I try to limit myself to one project at a time- one that I can complete in no more than an hour. Right now I am trying to focus on what I need to do to be ready for the baby...which means doing somethings that I have been putting off doing :)

Like I want to have all of the receiving blankets out next to the crib in a big basket I have---but that basket was full of other baby blankets that I don't use and need to donate, and a box of random junk that's been there in my closet forEVER! So I tried to save the stuff out of the box I could still use- and throw away the rest.

Right now I have like supernatural cleaning power though...I remeber when I was waiting for my daughter, Lucy, to be born (she was born at home) - I had my house so neat and clean- it was like superhuman! The idea of the house being a mess when I gave birth was just unthinkable --LOL!!! I don't care so much now...except for our bedroom-- it's like my little kingdom that I wan't just right so it's peaceful in there while I am getting to know baby :)

I nested all day. I:

*cleaned out beneath the bathroom sink and reorganized everything
*scrubbed the kitchen floors
*baked
*re-arranged the furniture in our bedroom
*moved baby stuff into our room
*re-organized our closet & dresser
*cleaned the spare room/baby's room
*cleaned and reorganized the laundry room
*did 3 loads of laundry

and now I'm pooped ;) I took a two hour nap but I still want to CLEAN :p. If I wasn't so tired, I would.

I have the urges but by the time that i get back from work i am too tired to do all the things that i want to do.

I can already tell that when i finish work and have 4 - 6 weeks off before the baby arrives i am going to be doing so much lol
