Except this isn't even a falsification of anything. Its a statement that the data isn't necessarily precise enough or surveying a large enough area to be meaningful. And there's no back patting going on.
Sure there is, so much we even had to joke about it. I mean it has to be a joke, right?
A Neverending Story - Cosmologists Find The Nothing!!
"Scientists of the Cryogenic Dark Matter Search experiment today announced that they
have regained the lead in the worldwide race to find the particles that make up dark matter. The CDMS experiment, conducted a half-mile underground in a mine in Soudan, Minn., again sets the worlds best constraints on the properties of dark matter candidates.
With our new result
we are leapfrogging the competition, said Blas Cabrera of Stanford University, co-spokesperson of the CDMS experiment, for which the Department of Energys Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory hosts the project management. We have achieved the worlds most stringent limits on how often dark matter particles interact with ordinary matter and how heavy they are, in particular in the theoretically favored mass range of more than 40 times the proton mass.
Our experiment is now sensitive enough to hear WIMPs even if they ring the bells of our crystal germanium detector only twice a year. So far, we have heard nothing.
[emphasis added]"
"This is a fantastic result, said UCLA professor David Cline, organizer of the conference."
Yes, a fantastic result in the never ending search for nothing, as it just means another reason to ask for more of my tax dollars to waste. And they needed to present their finding of nothing at a Symposium on dark matter and energy. Wonder who's taxes paid for that too.
'
We were disappointed about not seeing WIMPs this time. But the absence of background in our sample shows the power of our detectors as we enter into very interesting territory, said CDMS co-spokesperson Bernard Sadoulet, of the University of California, Berkeley.
[emphasis added]"
The absence of background just means you found another big nothing. Not even noise to look through. It doesn't show the power of your detectors. Detecting something would of done that, detecting nothing just shows how unworkable the theories really are. I can detect nothing with a paper bag, and that only costs .25 cents.
The same with LIOGO's gravitational waves.
LIGO Successfully finds nothing
""LIGO's contribution to the study of GRB070201 marks a milestone for the project, says Caltech's Jay Marx, LIGO's executive director: "Having achieved its design goals two years ago, LIGO is now producing significant scientific results. The nondetection of a signal from GRB070201 is an important step toward a very productive synergy between gravitational-wave and other astronomical communities that will contribute to our understanding of the most energetic events in the cosmos."""
But that nondetection allowed you to probe the heart of neutron stars.
No Elephants In My Carpet - More LIES from LIGO
"
The analysis revealed no signs of gravitational waves -- a result the scientists say is important because it provides information about the pulsar and its structure. They say a perfectly smooth neutron star will not generate gravitational waves as it spins, and that LIGO would have been able to detect gravitational waves from a star whose shape was deformed by only a few meters.
[Emphasis added]"
Or that neutron stars are Fairie Dust to begin with, as are gravitational waves.
You can't even detect them from so-called neutron stars and black holes, yet they had the nerve to attempt to link them back billions of years in the past. Fairie Dust to prop up Fairie Dust.
