If a man/woman is attracted to a 20+ year old woman/man (respectively), that is heterosexuality, correct?

If a man/woman is attracted to a 20+ year old man/w0man (respectively), that is homosexuality, correct?

What about if a man is attracted to 23 year old Zhu Jie. Is he a heterosexual, or a pedophile? What if a man is attracted her boyfriend who is 24 years old (I think), is that man a homosexual or a pedophile?


Why the strange question, well you would have to look at the couple to realize it.

A person who was attracted to either of them would be a pedophile. However, if that person were to enter into a sexual relationship with either of them, that person would be not be a child molester, since either of them is old enough to give legal consent.

But in neither case would the person's sexuality be adequately categorized as "homosexuality" or "heterosexuality". In both cases, it would properly be identified as pedophilia.

Scientifically speaking though, the DSM requires the object of attraction to be a child, these individuals are not. Thus while it may fit some common definition of pedophilia, it doesn't fit the scientific one (of course, I'll quickly admit I take issue with the scientific definition for reasons such as this).

Also, I would say they were hetero/homosexual depending upon their attraction. Contrary to popular opinion, most pedophiles are attracted to one sex or the either. Thus it would be hetero/homosexual pedophilia.

Wow, she has gotten a tough road in life. I feel for her, it is a perfectly normal need in adults to have romantic love. But for her, people will always look at her as a child just because she bears a superficial resemblance to a child. If you look at the close ups of her face when she is singing, you can see her face has child-sized adult features.

In terms of her other secondary sexual characteristics, I won't even go there. I am just glad she was wearing a demure outfit.

I hope that she is able to find love and have as rich and full a life as a woman as she can.

As a very short baby-faced Air-Force captain I know has had to say to countless Germans " I am not a child, I am a small woman." Of course she said it in German, which makes the whole thing much more hilarious for some reason.
