  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I was browsing a site called Deviant Art and found it. hehe. I've recently tried looking for pictures that resemble what I see for my characters. Makes them more real, I guess.

Yeah, I have to skip over some of the pictures there too. Sometimes it seems that's all I come up with and I get frustrated and quit. lol. But I've found some good ones on there too, like Jonas'. And I found one for a female character I have yet to make. Just liked the picture, but I'm waiting to see where I could put her in this story. lol.

Anyways, for the search terms, I pretty much put in whatever I think my character is going to look like. If he's an Arab guy, I put in "Young Arab man" or if my character is a woman and has blond hair, I'll put in "Pretty blond girl" or some such thing. lol. And then go off that. It doesn't always work, but most of the time will come up with something.
