Good turn of phrase means you know how to express yourself using witty combinations or arrangements of words, good grammar, good spelling, etc. At least it's among the best I've seen in this group, but you're in good company.
Since we are getting close I thought everyone might like to know a bit about where the party is headed, a small town called Akhonne.
On a high hill, surrounded by fertile fields and meadows, sits the lovely village of Akhonne. Like a lone flower hidden in tall grasses Akhonne shines in the virgin forest. The only other distinctive geographic feature of this area is a large granite quarry several miles northeast of the village. It is from this quarry that the gleaming granite slabs used to build the keep, and the wall surrounding the village, were taken. The wall is not designed for defense, but the keep is an impregnable fortress, well able to stand any ferocious siege. The fields and meadows extend three miles from Akhonne in each direction, giving plenty of room for large crops and livestock grazing. This also ensures that no one may approach Akhonne without alerting the watchmen atop her walls. Beyond this small open plain lies miles and miles of virgin forest. Only three roads have been cut through this forest and they lie south, northwest and northeast of the village.
Akhonne is far from being a simple village for she is home to many fine artisans and craftsman. The villagers enjoy a lifestyle unheard of in most feudal societies and the village is a prosperous and happy place for all who live there. The area is overseen by Lord Sir Lawrence Athenuel, Viscount of Akhonne. He is a jovial and generous man, wise and powerful as well. His rule is fair and just, providing protection for all his people as well as wise judgement in disputes. No filth or offal will be found littering the streets of this village, Lady Victoria forbids such. In her own right the Viscountess is a scholar and a gentle lady, ensuring the health and well-being of the Akhonne populace along side her husband.
