Yes!!! And That Archer is Mathais!!!! he can deffinintly out shoot or be an equil shot to leighla. Oh and NO buddie touches Kahmal except Mathais!! They long time rival(in the story of course.).

Mathais's Arsanal

Let's see.... Mathais has a Ancient Magickal Long Sword thats partialy broken.
A concealed hunting Dagger that is 10in long, That his father gave him. A Composite Bow, a sheild with a Cross on it. and I think Thats it.

Uh.....no. Not to be a chronically hyper-competitive ego-centric whatever here, but I have to say NO, nobody matches Leighla. She is an archer-cleric ordained by God to fulfill her role as a protector of the forest and those who dwell therein. If you haven't already, read the bio. I won't belabor the point any further except to say that Leighla can outshoot Legolas. Nuff said.

Now, if Mathais would like some lessons....

P.S. Not to put too fine a point on things, but composite bows are a 20th century invention. Recurve bows are very powerful and they look really cool too. Used primarily in Asia by Mongols, Huns, etc. Do a Google search if you want to know more.

I had always thought that composite bows were a Persian invention. Are you thinking of compound bows?

I can't really vote Sathria for anything as she does not use swords but instead daggers, much more practical for someone not looking for a fight. She also isn't magical, she has a Holy Amulet, but that isn't magic, nor does she use it. It uses her more like. And bows and arrows aren't her thing anyways.

1.) Archer - Leighla
2.) Swordsplay - Maldirk
3.) Magic - James (cause he overpowered Kamahl...or was it Mathias???)

I'd have to concur with Mega on the voting.

Mathias wish he could overpower Kamahl, no less the demon within him. He merely teleported himself and the goodies for fear of his life.

I have to agree with Mega, Star and Shocka, but I have a proviso; character development. It's one thing to come into a game with a barebones description of who your char is and what they do and role play that really well. It's quite another to give a detailed character description with a good background and role play THAT really well.

Archer: Leighla, anyone ordained by God is going to be the best

Sword: Maldirk, Mega uses words and good turn of phrase to describe what his char's are doing (Mmmmm, that sounds familiar ) But wait for Slice to show up!

Magic: Kamahl, after all the power is within him

Re: the composite bow issue, I stand corrected. I WAS thinking of compound bows. Interestingly enough the Chinese also invented the composite bow, but some give credit to the Assyrians. I really like Google.

If the ones ordained by God are best, then Manfred should be best at sword play. Ah, I dont care for having someone who is undefeatable in their field, more so someone who can help out in different ones. In Manfred's case, he melee's well, and he knows limited healing and has his holy bolt, however, other than holy bolt he has no archery stuff, especially since it is against the code of chivalry to use long range weapons(I'm looking at yooooouuuu Maldirk)

I LIKE having a character that is a superior in one particular thing. That means they are severely limited in most other areas and THAT makes for great role play. I'm excited about bringing Slice in. Leighla IS a great archer, but her personality is about as sparkling as last week's 7-up. Slice is going to spice things up.

You are right about a jack of all trades being more handy to have around. Just look at Asha!

Ya, to be terribly honest, I prefer a character who is more of a "not the best but helps whenever he gets the chance and does his best" kind of guy, only not to so storybookish a degree, if you know what I mean. Not the, "I'm so frikin powerful that you need to just shut the heck up before I kill you!!!" kinda guy. You know what I mean?
