I got really bored and really carried away with my Isliel sketch... I have one of Rosyen hiding around somewhere, which I'll also color in. I've found that Teglon is a HUGE pain in the butt to draw, though!

A little crooked... but oh well. Dang... that Raiben insignia is tough to draw! And the wavy pattern looks weird. Oh well.

Yeah, Zantuk is most definitely in the equation... it's just that most of the cultists introduced so far have been female. (Considering me, Blessed-one and Surprised are all female, that shouldn't be too surprising! )

kind of.. but then i already had Iruen, who was a male cleric, so when i had to make up a bad guy cleric while i was playing 'the lost key', i made a female one.

um, yeah, how about flowers? is that a bit too much? oh, perhaps just have the wavy patterns around the base of the sleeves and the robe. Simplicity = elegance..

i chose 'Yahweh' because:
1. This is a fantasy world, so.. using the normal title of God seems too modern.
2. There're a whole heaps of names in the christia playguide (which are just names taken from the bible and the other languages): Jehovah, Lord, Yahweh, Abba, El.

take your pick.

Are you harboring subconscious misogynistic feelings, Bus? Hehehehe... I think Lysander's gonna be the Mekel in charge of Correl or something... or at the very least working closely with the other guy. Considering the distances involved, though, how would the baddies communicate? They should have something uber-sophisticated that the good guys are trying to figure out... how would they get their messages to each other so fast?

I think my new baddie Lysander might be the guy in charge of Correl... heh, he's Eyrellian himself Probably working very closely with our two lovely Raibens of Shardalon... the goings-on in his area will likely be of interest to both Rosyen and Isliel.

I guess just using Lord would work for me... anything else aside from God does feel sort of funny. I guess I'm kind of akin to the Jewish in that way, though I don't go so far as to use L-rd or G-d.

but the words 'Abba, El, Yahweh' they're either Greek or Hebrew, and that kind of makes them ancient; and fantasy isn't supposed to sound like a modern world unless it has science fiction elements in it (or that it is connected to our world). Right?

and about Hrestanin, what ideas do you have with the bad guys that are supposed to be trailing the trio? my brain just said that Elaisse wants to come along (oh, i like that name too much right now), maybe we can make him a new Zantukite convert! (no.. how the heck did he become a bad character? )

don't know whether it's a good thing or not when characters decide otherwise.

Hehehe... I think it's a good thing, most of the time! Remember, I was never even planning on keeping either Teglon or Mikel; they just sorta went from NPCs to full characters on their own! Kind of like when I played that weirdo Lucia person in the RPG she was in before Portals of Destruction... I'd never planned on keeping her, either! (She was my prototype for the sk'kirrim...)

Anyhoo... Elaisse the cultist; that could be interesting. Or possibly he pretended to convert, so he's some kind of double agent and we don't know which side he's actually on? Muahahah!

Hmmm... I'm cool with the ability you stuck Mikel with. There's other stuff hiding in there, too... the only reason he was merely a minor mana wielder was because of his own inhibitions! Ohhhhh, the havoc that shall ensue!
