ok, guys, i'm going to add 'Time of Trial' to my CF homepage, in a format similar to 'Seven Seals' (you can check it there). I'm thinking of putting excerpts in, but if you guys could pm me your individual excerpt that would be great! If i don't hear back from you by tomorrow, i might go on ahead and choose one for ya.

Adding Time of Trial to your custom page? Oh, awesome! I'd been thinking of doing something like that (rife with my wacko personal commentary, of course!) but I'm too lazy to. Maybe I'll sign up on LiveJournal to kick off my NaNoWriMo thing... because I'm pretty set on doing that. Jury's still out on whether I'm going to leave Isliel's baddie status unknown for most of the story (dropping little hints here and there) or make it known from the outset... the former might be a little more interesting for the reader, but the latter would make for some great dramatic irony.

I made this character for the Zantukites, but I could change it to be a Shardonian. It might be fun to call Isliel’s loyalty into question.

Appearance: Medium weight and height, high cheek bones, leathery sun-baked skin, long unkempt gray and black hair and beard, wide-brimmed leather hat with a big feather which covers his eyes, and durable, dirty clothing. Second-hand rapier which he carries at his side.
Bio: Fergand is an inquisitor for the Zantukites. He routs out those who may be defecting to Perian Intelligence. However, he lost his sight, and the Zantukites consider blindness unholy. He is concerned that if they find out he will lose his status, so he covers his face with a wide-brimmed hat. That way no one can see his pale eyes or know that he isn’t looking directly at them when he talks. He claims he is illiterate. His sword is mostly for show.

Although your comment of "the psuedo old woman" was not only interesting, but also rather funny, I'm afraid an error has occured. She's no longer down on the side of the stream. Bat has ran, decloaked, and climbed up a tree to listen in on the conversation of the two soldiers. Sorry dude, but she's not there to watch your character being clumsy and falling into a freezing stream.

And one more question also. Has been a whole day? I recall it being night time and nearly daylight soon. I realize I'm being very assine (if that is the word I think I mean) and such, however I just wanted to let you know of these small things. I personally don't care, but I thought it'd come better from the one always in trouble for "playing God" as it were with nature and sudden appearances of characters where they don't belong. (not this thread...past threads long dead).

I thought it was about dusk. The most Wymite could have been walking for is two hours, but I'm not sure how inter-dimensional time works on a quantum level, especially if bent by singularity. Like those microscopic japanese cars or Narnia. (I have no idea what I'm talking about) Also, you said that was a question. Socratese leaves his annoying way of arguments behind.

That's an interesting idea, Zantukites considering blindness unholy... this guy sounds like he'd probably be in league with Igo, who has the much more euphemistic title of 'Investigator'. (Which, some to think of it, is pretty much the same thing. Hehehe.)

Anyway, since the Shardalonians ultimately answer to Zantukite authority on account of a little spat that happened between Zantuk and Shardalon-- which Shardalon came out on the losing end of-- it would probably be just fine to keep Fergand a Zantukite. Besides, to be a Shardalonian he'd have to be a woman!

Well, sorry for taking sooo long to post, but I was too tired to post, and I had to clean the house for church on sunday, and went to my Aunt's birthday party on saturday. Very busy.

As for a character, I was thinking maybe a wolf or a medium-large dog that is intellible, though does not appear to be able to speak any language, other than that of the wolf/dog. what do you think?

(I really just made that up. Singularity is the black part of a black hole, where the gravity moves objects faster than light, so time is bent. Those little japanese cars are quantum mechanics, which have nothing to do with time )

I once and still do theorize that each galaxy has a "black hole" in other words in the center and that may be the reason for galaxies tramendous force of gravity keeping it all together. Otherwise, it'd be like our solar system without a sun. It'll fall apart. So I'm not sure. Otherwise I'm insane and it ends up Hawking was right and that black holes can't exist. Also I think that black holes are kind of galatic vacum cleaners and that they filter out junk (like solar systems) and produce Dark Matter (which is the abscence of matter.). Perhaps I think too much and perhaps I'm WAY out of hte box....but I am allowed my opinion. Enough of invisible tyep! let's have some normal RPG!!!! YAY!!!)

(Where we got to vaccum cleaners from a discussion on what time it is is confusing, but I like upright vaccums better than the kind with the hose.

Einstein was the one who said black holes couldn't exist, Hawkings was the one who said that black holes slowly dissolve. But didn't he just in the past year say they don't dissolve?
