Online Bible Study

A few of us are forming an online Bible study. It will be men and women. We have a teacher but now need interested participants. This will be a small group of 8 people.

It will be on what being "in Christ" means. To understand that we need to know what Jesus is like and what we are like (according to Scripture). What happened spiritually when Adam sinned, what our nature was before salvation, what happened when Jesus died, and what our nature is after being born again.

what bible version are you planning to use? and also,there was no before salvation... they were ALL saved by grace even before Jesus because they were looking unto Jesus.

As far as the salvation, I was referring to before an individual's salvation, not salvation in general.

okay good , i just know there is a salvation difference between denominations/depending what bible they use. many churches teach work salvation today or say that the people in the OT had work salvation which isn't true. depending on the topic i could see this working for what bible versions people have.. but there would be some debate depending on the topic lol

Oh I know. We are prepared for questions and possibly debate. We are going to have some guidelines set in place for politeness sake and they will have to agree to the Statement of Faith on this website.

We were thinking of an online chat setting at first for the Bible study but now think it would be better to do it through email at first and then get together for chat if people's schedules allow.

Ya, finding a time to meet for a group discussion does sound like it might be hard to pull off.
