How many women were in the Senate and House when Amendment 19 was proposed? How many extremely poor were there when 24 was proposed? How many blacks when 13 and 15 were proposed? How many 18 year olds when 26 was proposed? And those are all amendments to our consitution, the high law of the land.
I fail to see your point.

I'll stop making such a big issue when i am not constantly discriminated against just because I am gay. As for now, it's a huge deal to have one more person in congress on my side.

I find it interesting that so many bigots are the first to rant and rave about the evils of homosexuality, but are often not virgins themselves, or rarely condemn fornication.

Just because you fail to see it doesnt mean it doesn't exist.
The above listed amendments weren't confused as moral issues, they were issues of humanity, therefore the "marol majorities" relgious beliefs weren't involved in making the decisions.

Slavery didn't involve moral issues? If you don't think religous beliefs entered in to those votes, then you are wrong. Just because someone is a homosexual doesn't mean they are going to support "pro-homosexual" legeslation. Kolbe voted for DOMA. Just because someone is straight doesn't mean they will oppose it (64 straight people voted against DOMA). Minority rights have always appealed to more than those in the minority and don't always appeal to all in the minority.
BTW - wasn't Don Carcieri elected gov of Rhode Island and isn't he straight?

If this is wrong, let me know. I will clam up on this.
But lets do this.
What happens in a sexual act between two men? It this described as pleasure?
What about two women?
I will stop this right away if this is not proper questioning.

I don't see what this has to do with GLBT's being represented in congress.
