Personally, I'd say no, you won't. Think about it, if you were once saved, then went out later and killed people, would God take you in? No. He's not stupid. Same goes for just stopping your belief in him, I think it's the state you're in when you die that matters.

Personally, once you are saved...YOU ARE NOT ALWAYS SAVED! My Dad for example...he was "a true Christian" and is now not, and he drinks, cusses, and whatever and if he were to die he would go to Hell...

Here is why...
You know how God has set forth 7,487 promises? Ok well, in those promises are also, warning signs to what is to come. Take for example John 6:37- "All that the Father gives to me will come to me, and whoever comes to me, I will never drive away." That is saying that you wont loose you salvation. But...in that you have to interpret it by saying, that YES God will NEVER drive anyone away...you will drive yourself away from him. None of his promises are broken...we are promised every promise, but its wether or not we read into the promises and live up to it. If you break your promise with God, he isnt going to break his with you...he is going to convict you and give you signs that you what you are doing is wrong...but you get to a point where you totally stop getting convicted and God doesnt necessarily give up on you, he just says you know what I have tried and this person isnt coming back, so God steps back and lets you learn your lessons. So what I am saying is that once the conviction stops and you totally loose hold on God that is when you salvation is "lost"

I dont really know how to put it into words!

Once saved always saved~ becuse do you ever stop being your moms child ? no so you can never stop being Gods

The saved and the unsaved are Gods children alike. He created us all so it would be cold hearted to look out at some who have not accepted God as their father and say they are not His children. Logic screams that Gods salvation is by grace for while we are yet sinners He still loves us... regardless of the state of salvation. Here is a point though. Will parents who raise their children correctly truly pay them wages for doing no work? God is not just a parent, He is also our master and boss. Burying the wealth your master gives you and then expecting praise when He comes back is not logical. To not expect rebuke would be totaly ill-mannered and selfish minded. Is free will boudless? So many say that we have the free will to accept Gods salvation but then what? Are we stuck with it? Do we not also have the free will to reject it? I hope and pray that people understand this and don't just believe satans standpoint. He is going to offer the shortcut and easy way. Looks good dont it? That is untill we come upon the dead end.

In Love,

God knew before He created us, that we were going to mess up. BUT, He made us anyway. Why? Because He loves us. And, because He loves us so much, He already had the plan of salvation ready way before the creation of the world. God is all knowing, all powerful and is in all places at once. He knew what we would need and when we would need it.

Just accept the fact that God loves you and wants you to be reconciled to Himself. That's what Jesus did. He reconciled us to the Father. If you look for Him, You will find Him.

BTW, God is not an indian giver. He doesn't give you salvation and then take it away or let you throw it away. I'm sorry, but you are stuck with being saved whether you like it or not! HALLELUYA!!!!!

I want to praise the Father, Son and Holy Spirit for loving me so much. When I got saved, my life started to change. I felt the tug of the Spirit on my heart, telling me that this was not good and that was not good. I've changed so much, for the better. Thank you Father God!!!!

I am more peaceful inside than I've ever been !!!!

I am a born again Chriatian, 28 years old, and only been saved for less than a year. I will tell you from my personal experience, I am still a sinner; but I love the Lord and know him personally, he has come into my heart and my life and changed me into a person many don't even recognize. I desire to please God with every ounce of my being; I fall short to many times, but God is teaching me each day. There is no doubt in my heart nor mind that I am saved; at times I feel very underserving of this, but I do know it to be true. The Father is perfect, his word is perfect. All of the things he has revealed to me are amazing!! I have testimoni that I cherrish. I hope this has helped in someway. Seek the truth, he promises us he will reveal himself to those who are seeking; and he is very faithful to all of his promises. Love the Father with all your heart, and he will change it to become more and more like his each day. I promise! Take care and God bless

With Love,
Tanya

Yes, we can leave Him behind, but He is still in that same spot waiting for us to return. Just like the father of the prodigal son.

Besides, where are you going to go where DAD cannot find you?

Jesus said that we are in His hand and He has His hand in the Father's hand. I don't know anyone stronger than God. I know I'm safe in His care.

It says in Romans somewhere that for all who have sinned have falled short of the glory of God. That says it right there. I mean if you sin and you dont repent or if you sin repent, sin repent, sin repent...God is going to say...you know what, if he wants me back he will come to me...

For example, my biological father was really into the church when he and my biological mom had me. Now my real dad doesnt attend church, cusses, drinks, smokes...and a bunch of things he knew wasnt right but continues to do them. Does that mean he is going to go to heaven? OF COURSE NOT! He was truly "repented" one time but fell away...(a backslider) not I know without a shadow of a doubt that if my dad were to die right now he would go to hell.

There is NO way that OSAS is true! Every sinner in this world would be able to go to Heaven. Yes...God knows we are not perfect we are human...but he expects us to strive each and every day to be more like him.

Everyone sometime in there life as the opportunity to serve God....So you make the choice to serve him and you make the choice not to serve him. In the Bible, God promised us 7,487 promises...and they are all granted to us...ONCE WE MAKE THE PROMISE TO HIM THAT WE WILL BE HIS CHILD! God is going to break any of the promises by saying "you sinned, I dont want you" He wont do that, he is going to convict you and show you signs that hey you need to come back to me...Whether you listen to the warning signs is another thing...once you stop feeling that conviction that is when you are completely seperated from God.

I dont mean to put it in those words and I didnt mean to sound that harsh...But that is how it is. If you die without a pure heart and God convicted you and showed you...you will go to Hell. You have to die knowing without a shadow of a doubt that you are going to Heaven.

So if I died now when I am a non believer would I get to heaven IF it existed?
If you are asking yourself this question...Then that means you are unsure about your salvation and if you are unsure about your salvation ten times out of none your heart is not pure.

I dont mean to be rude about it or be offense but that is what God has set forth for us, and NOBODY ever said that road was going to be easy...because its NOT. I have fallen but I came back! Hopefully, this helped...

God Bless

Ezekiel 33

12“Therefore, son of man, say to your countrymen, ‘The righteousness of the righteous man will not save him when he disobeys, and the wickedness of the wicked man will not cause him to fall when he turns from it. The righteous man, if he sins, will not be allowed to live because of his former righteousness.’ 13If I tell the righteous man that he will surely live, but then he trusts in his righteousness and does evil, none of the righteous things he has done will be remembered; he will die for the evil he has done. 14And if I say to the wicked man, ‘You will surely die,’ but he then turns away from his sin and does what is just and right—15if he gives back what he took in pledge for a loan, returns what he has stolen, follows the decrees that give life, and does no evil, he will surely live; he will not die. 16None of the sins he has committed will be remembered against him. He has done what is just and right; he will surely live. (NIV)

Very good scripture Jesus Inside! I just read that the other day and God placed it my heart to post it here. I forgot so I guess he found someone else to do it. HeArNoEvIl, you sound pretty convinced but seem to go without proof of this knowledge you speak of.. Please explain to us since you KNOW what is right. If everyone should believe this then help us see your way.?

i hate to see this. people thinking that once you are saved you are always saved. that is so deceiving...here is why

my dad was a perfect man of God when he was married to my mom, he went to church, he went to prayer meetings, he spoke in tongues...everything. but when i was born he backslid and to this day (just about 18 yrs later) has not come back. if my dad were to die right now he would go to hell. why...because he was YES once truely repentant, but now he isnt. God went through a time with him where he convicted him and sought after him, but now God has NEVER turned his back on him, but he has stepped back and said if you want to come back I am here, but you have to do it for yourself.

here are some verses that i found that define osas.

Matthew 24:13 "But those who endure to the end will be saved."
notice the word endure according to Webster endure means to put up with
or tolerate. that means if we dont endure through even the hardest times
and slip up just once...then we have backslidden and need to repent.

John 12:45 "But all who reject me and my message will be judged at the day of judgment by the truth I have spoken."
that points it out right there. if you die right now and you do not have a
truely repentant heart you are going to go hell. its harsh and its hard to
take in. but i teach this to my youth all the time. i cant tell you how many
of them hate me for it. but you know its the truth and the truth hurts.

2 Timothy 2:12 "If we endure hardship, we will reign with him. If we deny him, he will deny us."
Once again point proven!

i just want people to realize that once saved always saved is a false doctrine and with people being taught that they are going to end up in Hell. i hate to say it and i hate to make that clear but you know it will happen look at my dad.

So you don't believe in Once Saved Always Saved? Good! You are correct in that it is a false doctrine. However, your Father can come back to God by remembering that his Baptism saves him. We are all sinners and in the vernacular you are familiar with we backslide all the time. But I know that if I confess to my backslidden ways and ask for forgiveness that I will be forgiven.

We need to go to the cross everyday with our burden of sinfulness. There too we will be sanctified as well as justified by the work of Christ on the cross dying for those sins.

Persoanally i believe that once Your saved...your always saved...
To be saved and then to become unsaved because you stop believing kinda just says to me that Jesus giving his life for us isn't enough to keep us saved for our whole life once we give our life to him...even if we backslide. Remember, backsliding is a sin...and when you backslide during a relationship with God, your sinning, not terminating the relationship.
