Note -i have posted this here for a discussion in fellowship and to give praise to God .it is not a statement saying "this is how it is " but a reflection of how easily we can be led away from simple faith . God is not a man that he can lie . he cannot lie ..if it is written ..it is so .
i also posted this here to avoid those opposed by sheer will power to oppose everything to do with god . better known as the unbeliever and the atheist .-dont bother replying here )

on the 4th day he made the sun on the first day he said let there Be light ...

So we know the light in verse one, is not the sun and moon .
and we know god is light , but we know he is eternal without beginning and end so we know he did not "make himself " on the first day .

So what is the answer to the apparent contradiction ?

the answer is simple and amazing and is actually IN genesis chapter one .
man just did not see it at first . in some ways it is because our english lacks a lot of depth . but its all in the first few verses of gen ch one .

- so many years ago (20+ ) i looked into these words ... 'and the spirit of God MOVED upon the face of the waters . when i looked further into the word moved i found its actually ."Vibrated or reverberated " ( this excited me because when i was baptised in the holy Spirit .. though feelings play not importance i experienced a vibration that poured over by being ..i have no further description for it i am without words for what i experienced that day )
So we read genesis like this .. "the Spirit of god reverberated over the waters..
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

now when he spoke he caused sound to reverberate into the waters that at that time covered the earth like a huge sphere of water .
and this is where it gets Fun .

its now been shown that sound passed through a tiny droplet of water causes a reaction that momentarily creates light .. in the absence of any other light source.
Now man has been unable to reproduce this effect for more them some infinitesimal fraction of a second ( to be precise , a nano second {1 billionth of a second }) (ie a tiny flash of light ) but it exists all the same .
sound ..passed through water .. makes light .

And we are not talking about man-but about GOD , who vibrated over the waters and spoke saying "let there be light " and there was light . so he is able to make the perfect frequency with limitless power over the waters encapsulating all the earth causing the waters to give Light .. BEFORE he had made the sun or the moon .

of course we know it happened because "he told it to happen ..he is God . but it also shows that it happened because it can . (he IS God )

Here below i have linked (remove the spaces in the link text ) a bbc article (it is long ) and it is about this process .it is not new .it is known as sonoluminescence - the article centers around mans attempts and FAILURES to make "cold fusion" . but we are not interested in that aspect of the article . for in their rush for 'power and energy source " they fail to see the significance We are looking at (they don't wish to see it ) that -light iS made to come forth from sound and water .. making what was once a seeming contradiction .. no contradiction at all .

Not exactly, sound passed through water liberates light. Sound vibrates only in odd dimensions, light in all dimensions, so three dimensional sound cannot create four dimensional light. God's vibration is infinite dimensional, which is why it created all dimensional light.

For sure.. and the fact he created water on the earthe he created and knew it would light up when he spoke to it.... no mistakes with god. but he did not need to make it to light up..he needed only to tell it to do so.

perhaps ..they know them so well they strain at a gnat ... they were so busy dissecting the scripture into ambiguity in order to impose their traditions they missed the messiah standing in front of them ..

Many did, many did not. 3000 accepted Jesus the first day, after one sermon - all were Jews. Until Paul in Macedonia, almost all new Christians were Jews. Paul himself was a highly trained rabbi. You may have a point about the Jews after 70AD or so, but the Talmud separates who said what.

and the ones before and then even to this day ..always a remnant have been getting saved each generation .but for the most part that veil has remained according to scripture ..it is now in our day and age that it is swiftly beginning to life and more then ever are seeing the messiah. but i do not give over weighted credence to jewish scholars that do not have the holy Spirit nor do I give over weighted credence to greek . the lord gave us each the tongue we speak and is well able to reveal the full meaning of what he says to us by the holy Spirit . (who teaches us all things and leads us into all truth )
we know that in creation account is truth Jesus quoted it and referenced it often and he IS truth .
when some denigrate the book of genesis into an analogy or alagory they cause the implication of Jesus being a liar when they do so .

faith grasps it all .and cast off (repents )all doubts and the sin of unbelief.

i do not give over weighted credence to jewish scholars that do not have the holy Spirit nor do I give over weighted credence to greek .

Nor do I. But anyone who tries to follow the Lord, may have something of value to say. And the Greek of the NT can often teach us shades of meanings that are missed in translation.
