My name is Richard and have suffered the loss of marriage of 33 years. I am continuing to learn how to come out and be seperate from my same sex addictions. I have come to the cross and know the power of Christ's forgiveness. Currently I am learning my powerlessness to wage the battle against the same sex attractions and addiction to touching yourself in my own strength, and the importance of yeilding to the spiritual strength of the resurrected Christ.
The deeper work which seems to be taking place within me is the healing of wounds and cleansing of xrated memories from the past. One of the greatest things I battle is feeling alone Also I am aware my idenity continues to be under major reconstruction. Let me know if you can relate to this journey.

I was in a very tough spot at my 1st post and desperate to connect with anyone. It seems the Lord wanted me to set my face towards to HIM alone.
I just ordered a book titled REPARATIVE THERAPY OF MALE HOMO-SEXUALITY. The into and ch 1 were as a bust of bright warm sunlight. This journey has been a difficult struggle, but help seems to come at the right time. I hate that my marriage of 33 years ended. The inner conflict between my same sex attraction and the faith I have of being a man made in the image of God....... I know and believe have a resolution through Christ's ressurection power. LORD JESUS....I wait on you for deep inner healing and the rebuilding of my masculine idenity.
