Yes, I do. If you read the NT, and incorporate the OT, you see prophecy fulfilled. You understand alot more of why God did what He did, as in the Passover, and how it is fulfilled in Yeshua. That is only 1 example, but it definitely helps you.

It is all one Bible. The TaNaCh or Old Testament contains types and pictures of Christ as well as prophesies refering to Him. It is the inspired Word of God and Jesus Himself quoted or referred to Old Testament Scripture 49 times in the Gospel of Matthew alone. If you do not read the Entire Bible, you are missing part of God's revelation.

The Old Testament is packed with passages that point to Christ The Psalms are replete with them. There are also wonderful historic accounts. When the New Testament makes reference to the scripture. it is the O.T. to which it refers.

"Old" and "New" are nothing but clever ways to describe different pieces of the same story.

Think about the classic way many of us were taught to share our "testimonies" of entering into Christ. We were taught to share our lives before knowing Christ, the events surrounding coming to know Christ, and then what was different in our life following Christ. It's all the same story, but the use of three arbitrary labels helps us put the story together in an order that makes sense and fosters good communication.

The Bible is put together in a similar way. The whole bible is the story of God and His Creation. Everything that happens takes place in the context of the whole story. Throwing out the Old Testament because we only need the New makes no more sense than ignoring the New because everything we need is in the Old. God has given us the whole story. Let us appreciate it.

Contrary to popular belief, the 4 gospels are part of the old testament. Its not until the death of the testator that the New Covenant can be fulfilled. There are basically two types of covenants in the bible, conditional and unconditional. The law of moses, known as the old testament, was a conditional covenant that God made with Israel, and that Israel agreed to enter into. The promises and the New Covenant, is unconditional.
