9. Find a safety pin and a jar of Vicks Vap-o-rub. Works great when you have a throat cold. Rub Vicks on your neck and use the sock and pin to keep the Vicks on your throat.

Oh my goodness. I like this idea. I get sore throats in the winter and I use Vicks quite a bit. I usually use a towel but I now see what I am going to switch too!

36. My grandma used to make these cute little monkey's out of old socks. I still see them around so I know the pattern is still available.

Sew up the hole and use the sock as a coffee filter when you're camping; just boil a pot of water, put the grounds in the sock, and drop it in there for a while like a tea bag. Sounds bizarre, but my dad swore by his "sock coffee" method for years...
